The "Halfway Diner" is a gem! From the looks outside most would probably drive right by. It is located halfway between the Beltline and Greenville so if you've never been here you would probably drive right on bye. But, that would only happen once because once you stop you are hooked. The food is fantastic and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is treated like family. It is our favorite. We probably go there two to three times a week when we can get in. Too many people have found this place so if we don't get there early they are out of the specials. But they have plenty of other delicious things on the menu along with homemade desserts. Top of our list!!!

We tried out the halfway about six years ago. I think it was under different owners at that time. Never went back because the food was not good, the seats were all ripped up and it was dirty. We thought we'd give it a try under the new owners and boy, was it a great experience! We even ended up going twice in one week. Food is excellent. The staff are all friendly, and even though the place is old, it's nice and clean inside.
Awesome wait staff!!Food was more than plenty!!When food comes to the table it's still hot!!Managers are excellent!! They treat their employees fantastic... And they love the customers and gets to talk with them!!

Was in town for a funeral and was told this was the place for home style cooking. The country fried steak breakfast special was excellent. Grandma's style gravy, and I think that strawberry jam was home-made... if not it can certainly play the part. I'd go back if I were visiting again. Also a cute little free neighborhood library in the corner.

I have heard good things about this restaurant but it's halfway between me and somewhere else must I figure out where it's at I think it's off of n57 West of Lincoln Lake just passed while this I think Mom was just like road that is. Pretty sure the food is like home cooking and type of place that will fill you up for a good deal and a good price that's what I've been told I will try it out and update this post
