“We took our family the other night. Great location, delicious food, and fair prices. But what really stood out to me was the staff. Great customer service!! Polite, eye contact, checking in with all guests to see how the experience was or if anyone needed refills. The cook was hustling and doing an amazing job. These young people were outstanding! This will be a go to for us.”

“This was a new discovery for us. We had marinated olives for our appetizer, morty sub and bacon and friends pizza - all were out standing! Try the homemade chip dip! Creme Brule was the perfect ending! Our waiter lost some tip because taking care of dishes was more important than taking care of our check. Surrounding area, inside and out was very pleasant!”

“Ordered a deluxe pizza to go, 30 minute drive home, then mowed the grass for 90 minutes then finally had a slice of pizza at room temperature.. I feel it is the the best pizza I’ve ever had! I can’t imagine how incredible it would’ve been directly out of the wood-fired pizza oven. It has been at least 8 years since I’ve been to Marinades, I think I’ll be there again in the next 8 days!!!!!!! The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! I repeat THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Excited to try it right out of the wood-fired pizza oven the next time!!!”

“stopped into Grill 111 after work this week for the first time, and it definitely won’t be my last! I had the filet, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and incredible food. Highly recommend Grill 111 if you’re looking for a great meal in Rockford!”

“The pizza is always great here. I love a crispy brick oven pizza. So, this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for dining in, and the grilled chicken sliders and a regular kids’ cheese pizza to go. The spaghetti was perhaps just a difference of preference for taste. To me the sauce was too sweet and thin/watery. There also was no shaved Parmesan or basil, which the menu says are part of the dish. So, pasta portion was just really lacking in any flavor. However, the meatballs have amazing flavor! I’d eat them every day. The grilled chicken sliders were extremely disappointing. They each had maybe a bite and a half of chicken in a small strip. As you can see from the picture, one really had less than a bite. The sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwiches was missing. Just disappointing overall. The service was great, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, drinks were nice, and the pizza did not disappoint as per usual. I’ll stick to the pizza, cheese bread and bruschetta moving forward…they’re always great!”

“Had my 5 year olds birthday party at the pump house for an “ice cream for breakfast theme” before they opened. The staff was amazing to work with and helped with anything we needed. We did arts and crafts and did a Taylor Swift dance party. 10/10 recommend.”

“I have been coming here on and off for years. And lately a lot because of their affordable meal deals. Their weekday lunch crew is very nice and know what they are doing. I think there only has been 1 mistake made and they immediately fixed it. Staff is very nice.”

“Strome’s Creative Cupcakes just catered the dessert cupcakes at my wedding on Saturday. They did an incredible job. The menu had more options than I thought were possible! I was so thankful I followed the advice “with my flavors, you will want to order at least 2 per person” I ended up buying 17 dozen cupcakes for an 80 person wedding and only had 2 dozen left by the end of the night (I provided to go boxes for guests as a party favor). By far, these cupcakes were the most complimented aspect of my wedding. The communication prior and post wedding were seamless. The setup was beautiful! I will be ordering again and recommending to family and friends for any future events.”

“I happened to be in the strip mall it's in and in the Google search it's listed as a Chinese buffet. It's not, but I stayed and ate anyway. I was in there about 7pm on a Thursday night. There was one other table with two people and that is it. It was dimly lit. If it wasn't for the open sign, I would have assumed it was closed. It was that dark. I had the pepper beef combination which can with an egg rolls and chicken fried rice. The food was excellent. They did not have fountain soda so I ended up getting a bottle of Diet Pepsi. The only real positive thing I could say about it was that the food was good and the service was friendly. It's not a place I would seek out again unless I was already in the mall for some reason.”

“Vegetarian? Esta Buenisimo Fajitas, Cinco de Mayo! Veg Fajitas are the best I’ve ever had, and I’m from the southwest. Normally, Mexi restaurants just make it with the green peppers. Mine had carrots, mushroom, cauliflower - and the peppers. Delicious and filling.”

“Went for the first time (hoping to buy bread, lol, they dont have any). We were impressed right away! First, the prices are amazing for a Rockford restaurant, 2nd nearly everything is homemade!! Down to the French Onion Soup recipe being the same one from the original Arnies I grew up with and was SO GOOD. Next the Chicken sandwich was seriously amazing! The Im a snob for French Dips so that was a 6 out of 10, but thats the only complaint. Even the ranch dressing on the salad was homemade and best Ive ever had! I cannot wait to try the entire menu! I hear their Pizza is award winning! Our Server and even the chef/owner were great!”

“Ordered an Xlg Ham, gren and black olives, jalapeño, mushroom pizza no marinara but, instead garlic butter for the base. And Xtra cheese. It was thee absolute best pizza we've had. Ralph did an awesome job! We also ordered Garlicky cheese breadstix with jalapeños, 1 chicken bacon club and 1 ham, cheese,mushrooms and black olives sub. Everything was great! They never dissappint. Best pizza in Rockford for sure.”

“get a manager that owns up to poor service. waited too long to place our order. waited way too long -over an hour- for 3 meals which we ended up taking as carry out had to ask for a manager and she never came to our table. all while watching those sat after us getting served. i get things happen....i don't get blatant lack of professionalism in management. i always look to support local. thankfully i have other options in Rockford.”

“If you’re over in the Grand Rapids/Rockford area, definitely go check out the Corner Bar, Rockford Michigan. I was there to take in their coney dog challenge, but my wife and daughter’s food was amazing too. My daughter who NEVER finishes her plates completely devoured her pulled pork pasta. Super fun atmosphere and the staff was great. Also a HUGE selection of root beer and local beers on tap. We are from the greater Lansing area, but plan on definitely making the trip west again to try other amazing looking things on their menu.”
