“Had my 5 year olds birthday party at the pump house for an “ice cream for breakfast theme” before they opened. The staff was amazing to work with and helped with anything we needed. We did arts and crafts and did a Taylor Swift dance party. 10/10 recommend.“

“The pizza is always great here. I love a crispy brick oven pizza. So, this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for dining in, and the grilled chicken sliders and a regular kids’ cheese pizza to go. The spaghetti was perhaps just a difference of preference for taste. To me the sauce was too sweet and thin/watery. There also was no shaved Parmesan or basil, which the menu says are part of the dish. So, pasta portion was just really lacking in any flavor. However, the meatballs have amazing flavor! I’d eat them every day. The grilled chicken sliders were extremely disappointing. They each had maybe a bite and a half of chicken in a small strip. As you can see from the picture, one really had less than a bite. The sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwiches was missing. Just disappointing overall. The service was great, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, drinks were nice, and the pizza did not disappoint as per usual. I’ll stick to the pizza, cheese bread and bruschetta moving forward…they’re always great!“

“We had a great time there yesterday with some friends. We tried some beer, cider, and Sangria. All were excellent. We also had a few appetizers for our meal. The brussels are superb, and the tenders and fries (my usual bar fare) were some of the best I've had. TRY the hot sauce made with ghost peppers if you like heat. They make it themselves and it's sooo good. I asked for a little take home dish and they guy happily got me a little dish. The staff here was great. Super nice peeps. We'll be back!!“

“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“Was in tonight for dinner in GR on the front patio with a couple girlfriends and we were approached by a homeless man who tried to grab our bags. I’m reaching out to praise your manager and the rest of the staff for taking our concerns seriously and jumping into action. Top notch team you’ve got there. You were already a go to spot for us, but even moreso now. Thank you for a great spot, delicious menu, and for making your patrons safety a top priority!!“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. I will always be back :)“

“My girlfriends and I met at Blue Water for dinner tonight. Our waiter named Will made our dinner so enjoyable and fun. Our dinner came out so fast and the food was delicious. We split a dessert that we all didn’t care for. The General Manager Sheena came over immediately and offered us to try something different. She brought us a new dessert. She was so sweet and personable.“

“City Built Brewing Company is a great spot on the corner for grabbing some beers! I didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that, but their beer selection is solid — especially if you’re into hop-forward brews. They’ve got a good variety and offer flights, which is always a plus when you want to sample a few.
The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service was solid throughout. Definitely a cool place to hang out and enjoy some well-crafted beers in Grand Rapids.“

“Always enjoy your beer but why does your bathroom resemble a jail cell? Weird, dark, lighting and dark colors. Also, that stainless steal sink that stays on for maybe a fraction of a second.
Who saw this aesthetic and thought, I'd feel comfortable in my most vulnerable state here.

“food is usually very good but the last time i had shrimp dinner and the shrimp were fried too long, almost burnt, and a week ago had fish dinner and same thing fish were fried too long. Just need to reduce the frying time for those two items“

“We hosted a baby shower for my son and daughter‑in‑law today, and everything was fantastic. Kirsten was so fun to work with and helped plan the menu, and the whole team was incredibly flexible throughout the process. The food was delicious, and the banquet room had such a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Jody, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and offered great guidance along the way. Our waitress, Alecia (sp), was wonderful—quick to bring anything we needed and even helped carry all the gifts out at the end.
We truly appreciated the service and care from everyone involved. It made the day feel special.“

“Ordered a deluxe pizza to go, 30 minute drive home, then mowed the grass for 90 minutes then finally had a slice of pizza at room temperature.. I feel it is the the best pizza I’ve ever had! I can’t imagine how incredible it would’ve been directly out of the wood-fired pizza oven. It has been at least 8 years since I’ve been to Marinades, I think I’ll be there again in the next 8 days!!!!!!! The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! I repeat THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Excited to try it right out of the wood-fired pizza oven the next time!!!“
