He went in early to get the order done in off hours, personally delivered it, and was so kind every step of the way. This is also our go to place for family pizza nights. Our favorite is the thin crust four cheese pizza. Everyone we introduce to this place raves about it. Delicious pizza, excellent service, and very fair prices.“

Julian discounted dessert without being requested. I understood Applebee:s food is MSG free, something server did not know. And, the selection of wines included Cupcake & Barefoot brands, both of which have MSG!

“Wow! My wife and I celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary here tonight. The food, absolutely amazing! Drinks, amazing! But what I really want to rave about is how wonderful their service and hospitality was. We had a lovely hand written note at our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Multiple people told us happy anniversary. Our server, Ericka, she was real genuine and nice and at the end of our dinner she brought us a vase of flowers. This was hands down the best dining experience we have had. Thanks for making this an enjoyable and rememberable night for us.“

“I just got these cookies today and I had to come and review them. There I was minding my own business when all of a sudden I see a little cart with cookies on it. My eyes absolutely lit up when I saw the beautiful words “GLUTEN FREE”. I got the lemon one and the chocolate chip one and my friends…. Oh my friends it’s sooooo good! She even had a vegan one that my daughter was able to eat and LOVE as well! I am absolutely tickled to have found these. I want to try them ALLLLLL!“

“We enjoy the quality and preparation of the food. Today we enjoyed a classic Reuben and an Irish Benedict. Both yummy! The restaurant was almost empty at lunchtime. We were so surprised and talked with two of the waitresses. I hope business picks up soon for you all!“

“Delicious! First had their cookies and Cheeyah at Michiana Veg Fest about 4 years ago and fell in love. Sadly we are a bit far to get it regularly. Our local co-op Purple Porch is now selling their frozen and cookie items! Still working on them to get the Cheeyah. 😉 Yummy, local, vegan! Cheeyah is the best thing ever. I ordered some bottles for a party for us vegans at a nacho bar (found a cashew queso not nearly as good). It didn’t get there for the party (I waited too long so it was on me) and when it came today, they included some pies and a cookie! So sweet! Thanks for being an awesome company!“

The crab Rangoon was crispy and the cheese filling sweet and plentiful

My lunch partner also enjoyed the Korean corndog It was the potato movdog A hot dog on a stick covered with mozzarella cheese and deep fried with potato. Then rolled in sugar. Lastly drizzled with Korean aoili. Wild but was excellent

“very good ramen shop! Their food is always very good and fresh/hot. I've never had a bad experience in the 3 years I've gone here. staff is always super lovley and kind and very helpful, whether that be bringing your food to you when they're not busy, to helping take care of your tray and dishes when you're done. 10/10, one of my favorites and you get a bang for your buck“

“Excellent service and great food“

“We arrived mid afternoon and split the “Two meat meal.” We chose fried chicken and fried catfish with green beans and candied yams (what, do you think we’d come to The Candied Yam and NOT order candied yams?). We were also able to have some of their Mac and cheese.

The chicken and catfish were delicious! The chicken was especially temperature hot and juicy, but I have to say that I liked the catfish even more!

The yams and Mac and cheese were excellent as well! The green beans were done in a Southern style, by which I mean cooked until very soft. Tasty, but personally I prefer them al dente with a more firm texture.

I believe this location does mostly take out orders so the dining area is limited in size and decor. But you’re here for the homemade recipes that did not disappoint! You owe it to yourself to give The Candied Yam a try!“

“We absolutely loved this week's experience at Pizza Ranch. Everything was so clean, the staff was very friendly and the pizza was hot and offered so many great varieties. We unknowingly came on wing night and that was an added bonus. The fries were especially a favorite at our table - so crispy! I loved the salad bar as well, which was well stocked with fresh options. The assistant manager served us our personalized pizza and checked on us several times. I also saw the staff continually bussing tables and attending to the buffet area. Our only disappointment was the Pepsi products rather than Coke because we're diehard Coca Cola fans here. But overall such a fun night and treat for an out of town guest who told us repeatedly how much she enjoyed it.“

“Super place to eat. One of my favorite places to meet friends for chatting. They even have some fancy coffees. There are so many sandwiches, soups, and salads - including 'clean' eating choices. Some things on the menu change but most is consistent so you are assured of finding something you love, even if you are a picky eater.“

“This was my first visit to “On the Border”. The food was really good and the wait for it was reasonable. Our server, Jayden, was very good. We could tell he was really busy, but he was on top of everything and did not fail to return regularly to check on our wishes/needs. Jayden was friendly and proficient. Hope we get him next time we eat at this restaurant.“

“I came in today and got a window seat to enjoy a cup of coffee. This location is so noisy, and the speaker right above me was blaring music at about 74 decibels. I don't think the employees in the back are aware of how loud the sound is when you are sitting underneath the speakers. I am having to leave because the volume was a serious annoyance. I asked twice for them to turn it down, and it's still just as loud: 74 decibels. Hearing loss starts at 75 decibels. Since the pandemic all restaurant have been playing music way too loud. 55-60 decibels is plenty loud enough for background music. Background music should be exactly that, background.“
