Baked chicken so juicy and yummy. I was bummed they were out of green beans so I will have to go back to try them a different time.
Mouth watering food!! The catfish was amazing the wings were amazing the greens were amazing all around amazing! And great staff!
This place was really good. I went there twice as well as a person I was training. Friendly and awesome customer service.

The Candied Yam Delightful Southern Cuisine (44th Street) serves very flavorful food. Some of the best catfish, with great breading and seasoning. Meals include fried hard catfish, collard greens, Mac n cheese, yams, baked chicken, and black eyed peas. The food is insanely yummy, always hot, and a great value. The dine in lunch special is a great deal at $10 for meat and 2 sides. The staff is warm, friendly, and always striking up conversation, making guests feel welcome like a big warm hug. It is one of the best restaurant experiences, excellent for a farewell brunch, and 100% recommended.
