“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“Always enjoy your beer but why does your bathroom resemble a jail cell? Weird, dark, lighting and dark colors. Also, that stainless steal sink that stays on for maybe a fraction of a second.

Who saw this aesthetic and thought, I'd feel comfortable in my most vulnerable state here.

“food is usually very good but the last time i had shrimp dinner and the shrimp were fried too long, almost burnt, and a week ago had fish dinner and same thing fish were fried too long. Just need to reduce the frying time for those two items“

“Just tried Tastefull Vegan Ice Cream today and it was FANTASTIC! I am allergic to gluten, dairy, some tree nuts and a few other things, and this is a game changer! I haven’t always been allergic to these things so I know what “normal” iced cream tastes like. This is the closest thing to normal ice cream I’ve ever had, maybe even better! My husband also had some and he does not have the allergic I do. He said it’s some of the best ice cream he’s had in a long time! We will definitely be back before the end of the season! Also, you have to try the pumpkin pie flurry and the banana pudding flurry!“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“Extremely tasty Korean food! Seoul Market is a rare find, offering truly authentic Korean cuisine. The bulgogi was the best I’ve ever had, containing the perfect combination of flavors. The kimchi stew had a nicely balanced level of spice that will warm you up on a cold day. The included sides were tasty and the purple rice was also a nice touch. The service is good, the prices were better than most Korean restaurants, and the owner was extremely friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back!“

We ordered gyoza, rangoon, karaage chicken, and beef ramen. We were recommended this restaurant so we were excited to give it a go. Sadly, it was a bit of a miss for us. The gyoza, Rangoon, and ramen didn’t really taste to either of us like anything special warranting the price. There’s an Asian takeaway close to home that we prefer for these items and it’s a bit cheaper. Lunch prices weren’t great. I liked the sauce for the karaage chicken, but the chicken pieces weren’t very good. My hubs actually had to go inside and get salt. I hate leaving negative reviews, I’m not sure if they were having a bad day? We were really hoping to have a special lunch, but ended up paying double what we would’ve elsewhere for food that was less tasty. I was really, really surprised. And disappointed. Even if we’d paid less, I prob still wouldn’t return. The flavors just weren’t flaving. Like, it was good, but not remarkable. The Rangoon were probably the best bites, but I can get the same or better quality elsewhere for half the price.

“My family eats here every time we visit downtown. They are kind to our daughter but the atmosphere is also great for a date. I have also dropped in for lunch between work meetings and the service is fast for a tight schedule. The Black Dragon roll is great!“

“Had a fantastic time. Showed up without a reservation on a Friday night. We got seated immediately near the salt water fish tank.

Servers were incredible. Personable, upbeat, made suggestions, even spent a few minutes telling us all the fish's names (Shout-out to Insane Clown Posse, Flapjack, and Spaghetti)

The drinks were great. They are tiki drinks, so you know they are way too crushable for how much rum is in them.

I got the Szechuan pork bowl, veggie spring rolls and both were great. Pork bowl was such a unique flavor and everything melded together perfect.

The spring rolls were some of the crispiest I've ever had.

And the atmosphere was nailed. It felt like your grandparents 60s basement.“

“We are here today for lunch. We are in town for States for Hockey and staying next door. By far the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. Fast, very friendly service. We got the salad/pizza bar and my son wanted a specific pizza and the made it right away fresh and hot and came to our table to tell us when it was ready so he could go get some. He’s picky and sometimes hard to please with food and no restaurant has ever been this kind an amazing to him. We have been places that won’t even bring refills in seven time. This restaurant was on top of everything! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back as we frequent Grand Rapids with 3 kids in hockey.“
