A favorite in Rockford!! They have the best pizza, everything is made fresh! You feel like you're in Italy between both the food and atmosphere?? we've been here a couple times, and have tried several times to return but they are closed on Sundays, which is understandable, so looking forward to returning on a week day soon!
Marinades has excellent wood fired pizza. High quality toppings and great crust make this my go-to pick when in Rockford. If you're dining in and are a root beer fan, they have Sprecher's on tap!

Got a 18 inch pepperoni, button and portobello mushroom pizza. The time was prompt, and the owner had a lot of love and passion for his craft. The pizza sauce was a little sweet for my liking, however overall the pizza was fantastic.The price is good for the location, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I crave a good pizza and some wisdom in rockford.I tend to be a bit of a talker, and the owner was patient, and had a lot of wisdom to share.
