“I rarely ever stop and get coffee but today was just one of those days. I wanted something warm and sweet but didn't know what I wanted. On a whim I asked the young lady if she could make me her favorite warm and comforting beverage. She did not disappoint! She made a Spotted Owl hit coffee and I can say this will be my go to from now on.To the young lady working the drive thru tonight, thankyou for being patient with me and for being so kind to a complete stranger!“
“Hands down the best coffee shop in West Michigan! Possibly the best coffee shop on the planet! I usually come about 3 times per week and all of the staff greet me by name every time I come in. Staff are all super friendly! The coffee is great (especially their pour overs)! The bagels and spreads are straight fire!10/10 would reccomend!“
“Stopped in for lunch after a mid morning walk along the river. Tried their lunch special 1/2 grilled cheese with the lentil soup and a caramel carrot cake latte, everything was delicious. Service was on point from the barista, counter help to the cooks in the back. The place was packed, I sat at the counter, had to wait for people to get up before taking a seat-standing room only. There's everything on the menu-coffee, pastries, toasts, breakfast, sandwiches, bowls, salads, soups. Nice place. Visiting from VA on spring break.“
“one of my favorite breakfast places to go! the workers this morning were delightful and were prideful in their bagels! this location has some of the prettiest bagels i’ve ever seen in my life, big and fluffy and exactly what you want for breakfast. they have an assortment of sweet and savory and a bunch of different flavored cream cheeses. i haven’t had this locations coffee, but before i always remember it as being well made! cannot recommend enough.“
“Great food at a decent price but the service can be a tad inconsistent. Usually good to great service but I've noticed that things fall through the cracks when they get slammed. Nevertheless, Westsider is still one of my favorite breakfast spots in Grand Rapids. Plenty of vegetarian options which is always a plus!“
“This place was super fun for my 2 year old. Couple thing a I didn’t like.. 1. Not a good selection for snacks on the menu & 2. Bathroom was gross. You have to take your shoes off once you enter (makes sense) but in the bathroom there was pee all over the floor by the toilet & on the toilet. Maybe someone needs to hold a key and hand it out when requested.“
“We had a reservation for a party of 12, but due to a miscommunication between staff when the reservation was made, we ended up having to be seated last-minute at separate booths. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us; a few mix-ups, but they were fixed ASAP and staff remained courteous, friendly, and helpful throughout. Food was great too. VERY pleased with my experience tonight, will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options and a full vegetarian menu.“
“I really enjoy stopping at Quickwater when I’m in Rockford. The views of the river are great & they always have great latte flavors. Normally I get a dirty chai when I go to coffee shops, but something about their flavors always encourages me to try something new. Great staff & service as well!“
