“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“My wife and I stopped here to grab a banh mi over the weekend. My wife had the bbq pork banh mi and I tried the grilled pork banh mi. We walked in to a very clean and cute restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted by the nice woman behind the counter which I assume is the owner. We let her know it was our first time dining here and she gave us a full run down of the menu. We will be back to try the rest of the menu and take a few more pictures!“

“I have been to Fruition a few times over the years and this is my go to place for Acai bowls in Grand Rapids. They have high quality ingredients and a variety to choose from. The location is always well maintained. I would highly recommend checking out Fruition and I definitely will be back whenever I visit GR.“

I tried the poke bowl and unexpectedly it is pretty decent. Just a tad bit expensive. Should be like $2 less. I am a bit apprehensive on trying the take out sushi since it looks like grocery store sushi. But the made on order poke bowl no problem.“

I sincerely mean that. Just before driving through to get my coffee I had received a devastating phone call and was in tears. I got to the window, and Liz right away went from barista mode to friend mode within seconds without even knowing me. She asked if I would come in and talk, offered a hug, and picked out the best 'hug in a mug' for a drink for me. She listened to what was going on and was so supportive. This girl is amazing.

I had a really dark day that day, and if it wasn't for Liz, I don't know how I would've gathered myself.

“I came to Hall Street Bakery for a gluten-free cinnamon roll expecting the usual GF experience, a dry puck you eat out of obligation and chase with water. Instead it was soft, pulled apart in actual layers, had cinnamon all the way through, and was buried under a frankly irresponsible amount of a clearly perfected icing. Now every other gluten-free pastry tastes like a punishment and I will keep ending up at the corner of Fuller and Hall on Friday mornings. They even bake the GF stuff in its own separate kitchen, so I can’t use cross-contamination as an excuse to quit. Ruined me. Five stars.“

“I was there Sunday Oct. 4th to pick up a doordash order & decided to get myself a drink! I was so impressed with all the staff!!! There was a girl in training, Sounded like it was only her second day! When she was leaving, the other staff members told her she did an amazing job & have a great day. Then, proceeded to talk amongst themselves about how well she was doing & that she had never been a barista before… but was learning so fast! So encouraging to hear young women compliment each other with such encouragement & excitement!!!!
