Uccello's - Rockford Reviews
We had a horrible experience at the East Beltline location last night. Out of the blue, the bartender yelled at us and put her hand out and rolled her eyes after waiting 20 minutes for a cocktail. This was a response to us looking at the drinks as they were put on the bar. It was over the top and super inappropriate and disrespectful and out of the blue.
Get rid of the administration fee. I will not go back to any of your restaurants. It is really deceptive. You build administrative fees into your food pricing so it is upfront. It should be illegal to be surprised with that at the end of the bill and NOBODY in the restaurant can tell you why it's there.
Always good food and good service. Good value. Hope did a great job for us tonight and had a smile on her face which is always nice.

Uccello's is a restaurant that offers a variety of food and a generally positive dining experience. Many customers appreciate the quality of their service, noting attentive staff who keep glasses filled and check in regularly. The food menu features popular dishes like the meatball sub, which some find delicious and enjoyable, with one reviewer calling it their favorite. The multiple cheese lasagna is described as wonderfully creamy and delicious. However, not all meals meet expectations; some reviews mention that certain dishes, such as the ovenbaked meatball sub and Mexican items like burritos, can be disappointing. The meatballs were seen as having been in the freezer too long, and the sauce lacked flavor, while the burrito was too spicy and difficult to enjoy. The Italian salad was praised for being very good, although the dressing was not well-liked by some.
Uccello's has a good selection of food and drinks, and many find the quality consistent, whether dining in or ordering takeout. On the downside, the restaurant has limited handicapped accessibility, with issues like a locked door, small tables, and cramped space that make it difficult for wheelchair users. The acoustics are poor, making conversation challenging. Overall, Uccello's is appreciated for its friendly service and tasty food, though some areas could be improved to enhance the customer experience.
