Very disorganized. Rude staff and the food and coffee were terrible. I am not sure how this place got rated so high. Save your money and go downtown Rockford.

The food is OK, and I had some coffee and cookies. They need to get more efficient. They have people waiting at the cash register to pay until their stuff is ready.

Then they got people checking their order and also people paying, all at the cash register. TRAFFIC JAM AT THE CASH REGISTER.

All the while staff asked me 3 or 4 times if I had been helped because they can not tell if I am done ordering because everyone is at the cash register !

Clue, have people pay up front, and then they can go sit down, call their name, or take it to them, problem solved, you're welcome.

I am new to the area and drove by what appeared to be a quaint little establishment. I walked in and the aroma of coffee was spectacular. I shopped around a bit and had a handful of gifts and proceeded to go to the cash registers. I stood behind the rope as instructed and several associates behind the counter were just standing there. Not one asked to help me. After two other customers were quickly helped once they stepped up with their products I went to the coffee side and asked if I was missing the way things are supposed to be done there because nobody was helping me! He told me to stand behind the rope and I told him I’d been standing there and nobody would help me. I told him everyone was just looking through me like I was a ghost! I put my items down and walked out. I’ll not go back. Very unwelcoming! Treated me like such an outsider! Such a shame because it smelled lovely in there!

Staff never seems friendly when we visit and that's including the owner. The place is always seems disorganized, chaotic, and a cluster. It needs a better plan of action on how to operate, it's basically like a over crowded antique shop running three different businesses in the same space.

Did not eat.
Haven't been here in years. It used to be a bakers/ cooks heaven for tools. Lots of stock gone. Features mostly coffee/ tea. Green Egg barbeque/ spices.

Yummy bagel sandwiches. Good coffee. Great brownies and cupcakes. Nice selection of cooking utensils, cups and other fun gifts. Great place for an inexpensive lunch.

I wish they would go back to the old way of where you wanted coffee ground you could pay there and it was confusing that you would order then stand to wait then go back to the counter to pay once your food was ready. I feel bad for the employees. My friend and another woman who had never been there were very confused at the process. It didn't make sense to them, and the lady in lane behind my friend who was at the counter waiting to order was getting her order taken before my friend. The staff apologized once they realized the mistake again, It was confusing and kind of chaotic, but other than that, the food was great, and the staff were friendly

This place has been on my radar for a couple years since we moved here but we finally made the 35 minute drive from the west side of GR to go Saturday. The ordering process was very confusing and I still don’t quite understand the logic behind paying when you pick up your order and not when you place it? We waited about 20 minutes and got two bagel sandwiches, some chocolates (upon recommendation of the lady standing in front of us), some cheese spread out of the case and one iced tea for $31. Pretty reasonable! I wanted to really like the sandwiches but I thought it was truly just okay. Tasty but not worth us driving back out here again. But the store, restaurant itself is a neat concept.
