I have always loved Kayla Rae Cellars until yesterday during the Rockford Harvest Fest. I stopped in to grab a drink and I was met with a very unpleasant woman. She was so disrespectful to all of the customers. We were all looking at each other in disbelief.
I was not sure if the drink was peach or apple and I asked her if that was apple.... she rolled her eyes and got loud and said PEACH!
I was discussing with my sister what we should get when another customer walked in. He said, "my wife is around back for the chili cookoff, would it be OK if I go back there to see her?" She replied, "I don't know can you?" With such a snotty attitude. He said, "I am only asking because I don't want to go back there if I'm not allowed." Which she replied, "I'm not in charge of the chili."
She is very loud and so disrespectful when speaking to people.
I got on social media (Facebook) and asked to have the contact information for the owner Karen. They would not give me any information.
I am a business owner myself and I would most certainly want to know of one of my employees were acting this way. This girl does not belong in a customer service position.
There were 2 girls working that day. One had a lot of tattoos on her arms and the other did not. The one I am referring to is the one without the tattoos.
Very quaint, like the rest of the town. Reasonably priced flight. I got 3 ciders and a sangria. The ciders are very sweet, and she has a wide variety of fruit flavors. If you love fruit juice, they're right up your alley!
Wine, Beer, & Ciders great selection! The lady was super nice and helpful.
Great nice wines
Best sangria ever! The staff is amazing and I love making our weekend visits to see what is new on tap. I love that I can get my growler filled or buy bottles/cans of our favorite to take home.
Used to be a nice quiet. One of the employees brings in her kids, she herself is very brazen and loud.Place has changed since new management had taken over. Need the hometown winery back.
It’s little winery in downtown Rockford. Indoor seating and they have a dog friendly patio. Sangria slushie was amazing!
Great wine and cider!!
It's a enjoyable cute place right in the heart of Rockford.Dog friendly on the patio. (That's a big selling point for me)They don't have my favorite wine in the world but for the price of a flight on a nice summer dayIt's worth a trip ? the owner is very very nice. You might even meet Elvis !
A good, quiet place to hang out with friends. Flights are $1/1oz pour and you can select as few or as many as you'd like. Normally food can be delivered from local restaurants right to your table, but that was not being offered when we went. The cider was good and the wines are flavorful, but not terribly unique. We will be back to try more!

Great customer service VERY helpful ?
Cozy place to enjoy drinks with friends. I loved the selection of drinks, especially cider, and hope to be back.
Great views and diverse selection. Had the mulled Apple Pie Cider. Definately worth the stop.
Fun stop with friendly and helpful staff. They had a huge selection of wine/beer/seltzers. Our group had a lot of fun here after work with a nice indoor and outdoor space to sit in.
Super awesome place! Great service! Everything we tried was very tasty! Wine, cider and beer. If you are in Rockford you must try this place.
