My wife and stopped in for breakfast and both got omelettes. Mine came as ordered but hers was missing mushrooms. She sent it back to be remade and when it came I was done. I just sat and drank coffee while she ate so not really that big of a deal.

Trying to find the place. This will help you find it, because it's well worth it. Driving north on 131 we saw the exit sign which mentioned the cafe. Up the ramp.....hmmmm now do we turn E or W? No more signs. Decided to turn E, going toward Rockford.....good choice. You pass the Cedar Rock Mall on your right, then a HUGE closed diner complex called Rosies. The cafe is just past this on the left (N) side of the hwy. GREAT breakfast, served all day. GREAT prices and GREAT staff. Everyone was so friendly. They even have a drive thru.

We were looking for a place to enjoy lunch driving from Kalamazoo to points north and (thanks to Trip Advisor) discovered the Cedar Rock Café. Our meal there was a delightful experience in every way – super friendly service, an extensive and creative menu, moderate prices, and superbly prepared and delicious food. Our choices included the BBQ Baked Bean Dog and the Lake Perch Sandwich. The unique hot dog was plump, juicy, and smothered with cheese and baked beans. The perch was fried to perfection – crisp and moist – and was served with a spicy tartar sauce and exceptionally tasty hand-cut French fries. The restaurant is open daily from 5 AM until 2 PM (not 3 PM as noted elsewhere on TA), so they clearly have a loyal customer base. (Why would they open that early if there were no customers?) Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to be counted among those regulars!
