Highly overpriced "wood fired" "pizza" that was flavorless and raw for 37 dollars that I had to re-cook once I got it home. I contacted the business but no response. The dead silent atmosphere, misplaced tables, and lack of service tells me this place is going out of business soon. Fatzos is WAY better and a better price if you are in this area and want decent pizza.

Marinade's has the best wood-fired pizza around. Cozy little restaurant. They have a lunch special of a personal pizza and a drink for $7! That's a crazy good deal.

I sat down one evening to enjoy a good brew and Stromboli. The Stromboli was just a little warmer than room temperature on the inside. The cheese still pulled apart, although the toppings inside were Fing RAW. Raw mushrooms, I ate maybe a 3rd of the Stromboli, I was very hungry and did not want to wait, although I should have yelled across the room to get some attention. At the end of the day, I just assumed that at least decent customer service was available. To my dismay, this was not true. The waitress came over long after we received the food and asked if we wanted anything else. No one even asked how the food was. Which, in my opinion, is always mandatory and courteous and professional to ask. So I said, "No, but the Stromboli is raw. Is this how the Stromboli is made here? I didn't know what to expect, because I've never had it. Usually, when I order a Stromboli, it is hot inside and fully cooked." Then the waitress said: "What do you want me to do about it?" (Unacceptable) To which I replied, "Well, whatever yall think is the best course of action to solve the problem." She replied: "I can give you 50% off of the stromboli." Feeling disrespected and disappointed as a customer, I said, "ok, if you think that's the best course of action." She then took all of the food off the table, including the rest of the appetizer we ordered and dashed away. When the waitress came back with the check she told me. "Next time let me know earlier, so I can have them put it back in the oven to make sure it's hot for you." (This is the most disrespectful and ridiculous customer service I have ever recieved.)
I've been a customer at this location as long as it has existed. I will likely never be returning again.

Easily one of our favorite pizza bistros.. Pizza is so authentic and tastes amazing! The atmosphere is very crowded, but they do offer outdoor seating, which is a plus... Very simple menu but something for everyone- I ordered the hummus plate and it was fresh and yummy! Hours are weird tho..? Very hit and miss...
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegg options, including a vegetarian pizza!??
Wheelchair accessibility: Preeeetty tight.... If at all possible....

Have eaten here for MANY years; unfortunately, it has been a slow spiral (quicker lately) into mediocrity at the very best. The pizza was once worth driving 30 minutes to get but no longer. We walk in and if the owner is not making the pizza, we walk right back out. The last several pizzas we have ordered would have been unacceptable even as a $2.00 frozen pizza. Get the owner, fabulous. Otherwise, frozen is a better option and far less money!

Got a 18 inch pepperoni, button and portobello mushroom pizza. The time was prompt, and the owner had a lot of love and passion for his craft. The pizza sauce was a little sweet for my liking, however overall the pizza was fantastic.The price is good for the location, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I crave a good pizza and some wisdom in rockford.I tend to be a bit of a talker, and the owner was patient, and had a lot of wisdom to share. I highly highly reccomend trying this place.
