We had a great experience! We got the Pesto Chicken and the Pickle Play breadsticks. To be honest the Pickle Play is worthy of the 5 star rating alone. The one star reviews I see are so harsh, pizza is very solid. Sure it is a little pricey but literally everything is pricey, everything. Two pizzas from anywhere is gonna cost $30-$40 easily. The pesto chicken was real good and I will be back to try more.

Outstanding pizza and prompt, friendly service! We love the OG Mitten and it’s great to have this location a bit closer to home. Don’t miss the pizza flight where you can combine 4 of their unique flavors. Thanks y’all!

I have eaten here a couple times now, and each time I've had a great experience. The pizza is way more similar to their GR location than it used to be.

I agree with much of what was said in reviews from 4+ months ago but they really seem to have turned it around. The crust seems closer to the GR location. The pizza was ready on time, and the staff was very professional. This has been the case the last several visits so not just a fluke! I encourage locals to give them a second chance. It's a great pizza and cool company who gives back to the community.

Hands down the BEST Pizza in the state of michigan. Anybody who rates this below a 5 doesn’t know pizza. I’ve been ordering pizza every Friday for 10 years. All of my prior loyalty’s went out the window the day I ordered from here for the first time. It’s been 2 years now and it’s the only pizza I eat! I’m ordering two right now!

Great vegan options.

The prices to add on toppings are a little out of control considering the size of the pie. I added basil and each piece had one chunk of leaf on it. It would make sense to sprinkle some thinly sloshed basil over the whole pie, no? There’s not enough cheese on the pizza, and it’s super frustrating to be forced to enter a tip before you can checkout. I get that you can type in zero, but that feels a little risky when they haven’t made your pizza yet. Don’t force a tip when you don’t even offer delivery.

Pizza was small for the price. There were space toppings. The pork was dried out. The crust was tough to chew. The garlic knots were so hard to chew the dough was over processed and there were so small. Also they forgot the ranch dressing very disappointed ☹️

This was my second try with the Mitten Rockford. This pizza is awful. It’s difficult to find something to like about it and I really love all pizza. Way undercooked. Soggy is an understatement. There is a sprinkle of cheese in the middle. Initially, I thought we were given a cheese less pizza in error because the pizza looked red. However, there was a sprinkle towards the middle. Enormous chunks of green pepper and red onion. Looks like it was cut with a butter knife by a child. The sauce is…not really sauce but more like a tomato paste.
How is the original location so good and this one is so different? I do think part of the problem is both times I have been in there appear to be just teens running the place. They were nice and the place is clean.

Disappointing pizza for $16. Pizza was overcooked and sun dried tomatoes were burnt. We always like the convenience of getting food while we’re on the lake but the quality doesn’t match the price.

Ordered Curse of the Goat and Plain Cheese pizza. It is definitely a curse. Very soggy and doughy crust. Could barely cut through it with a steak knife. Cheese pizza was a little better. Sauce tastes like it’s just tomato paste, very acidic and instant heart burn.Too bad as this is close to my house. I don’t remember the pizza at the brewery on Leonard tasting like this. I will definitely go to Vitales down the street.
