Quikwater Coffee is such a gem! The coffee is always delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting — the perfect place to start your day or take a quick break. Glad to see such a quality coffee shop land in Rockford (where I grew up)! Been there multiple times and whether it is espresso, cortado, pour over, etc., they have been delicious! Fantastic location by the river and nice interior. Service has been great.

Quickwater seems like a decent coffee shop to me. I went with a cafe latte like normal for me, and I found it to be smooth with a little bit of acidity. It was easy to drink without any additional sugar or additives. The scone I ordered was also delicious. The place itself is neat and clean with a modern look. It looks like they sell whole beans and wine too. I don’t think you can go wrong with giving them a try.

delicious lattes, tried both the peanut butter cold foam and one of the lattes off the regular menu - delicious
i also highly enjoyed the protein bites both times i came in!
the seating is perfect for a study date or friend catch-up and outdoor patio space is lovely
