“Talk about a hidden gem. This place gave me great vibes when I walked into the restaurant. It gave me that Sunday sitting at grandma's vibe. Everyone was super nice and friendly, the place is right off 75 so it's easy to access. The food was absolutely delicious! It felt 100% homemade. I got the Shepards pie and a side of 2 biscuits. My girlfriend got the Cajun shrimp Linguine. Both were very flavorful and fulfilling and in expensive. Rice pudding also comes with your meal for desert. I had it warm with cinnamon and whipped cream. I told my girlfriend it tasted like a holiday in my mouth. I love places like these. We will be back soon. A must try!“

So hard to find a Proper Club Sandwich I grew up on, every place just Turkey n Bacon not my style. “Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“The food is amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The servers are friendly and patient. The cost was very reasonable, especially for a family of four. Cooked and served fast and with a smile. We will be back and our daughter now wants to celebrate her 11th birthday there. Everything is homemade and delicious. Now, one of our new favorite places to have a family meal.“

“what to say when you don't want to give a bad review, but you also don't want to give a good one? How this restaurant has changed since Covid. Before: great service, good prices food was top notch. After: mediocre to bad service, prices much much higher, food not good. After dining here for nearly 20 years our visit today was our last. I'm not sure if there are new owners or what has occurred but the change of staff has had a negative effect. Time to find a new coney Island.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
