SOME FOLKS COMPLAIN. Not me. The food is high quality family style. The staff is young and local. They are in training for a life beyond being a high schooler or recent graduate thanks to Cheryl. Its clean and the menu is diverse with the best deserts and pies you can find anywhere. We drive a long distance to enjoy the offerings. One of my favorites is the Liver & Onions. Sound bad? This place may not look awesome from the outside but you can't beat the food and service. We enjoyed breakfast two different days. Both times were wonderful. Large portions. Wait staff is very attentive, too.

Food was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Average prices. Not great but not bad either.Typical of Northern Michigan restaurants, the wait was a bit longer for the food to arrive. I don't mind this at all, so it's not a negative. I've noticed some folks post bad reviews because of speed of service at local restaurants. It's a slower pace here and restaurants can get overwhelmed with out of town visitors. Be patient and kind and have a great time.
