First time at Jayell Smoke House BBQ , and I'm impressed! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the portions were huge. The food itself was delicious – definitely some of the best BBQ I've had. Perfect spot for a satisfying lunch!

First off I just want to say best barbecue place in Michigan hands downnnn!!! I’ve always had that taste for a good bbq and this is the place. Been back today after a few months of my mouth watering thinking about there brisket tacos. Everything was perfect. Got the corn bread and pit beans on side. Only thing was no fork. It’s all good though, ate it like a dog.

Let me just start by saying the owner is absolutely amazing our waitressing was on point. The atmosphere was great 100% still a great family place. I'm a single mom of 4 boys they had games that kept them off their phones and playing together. My middle son wanted pizza and had a headache the owner brought him ice cream to cheer him up and when the other 3 finished he brought them ice cream too b4 the night was over he wanted chicken tenders lol just had a great family night that we needed thank you! Oh and the food was soo good we drive from Rochester to go here so you know it's amazing!!Parking: There is parking in front and behind(after hours) and on the side street.Kid-friendliness: They have game for the kids to play the owner definitely makes sure the kids are happy. My teens pre teens never pulled their phones out!!

My husband and i went on a Friday evening. There are only a few parking spots in front of the building so expect to park on the street. Not a problem just giving information.Very good food. Attentive staff. It's was fairly busy when we got there but had good service and the food came out quick. Extremely fair portion sizes for the price. I ordered the loaded fries and was surprised by the amount of food. Their bbq sauce is worth the trip. The only loss of star is for the temperature. It was cold in the restaurant. It was a cold night out so that may have had an effect.This is a solid BBQ restaurant to enjoy.Kid-friendliness: It's a bbq bar atmosphere. Don't bring your kids and ruin it for the other patrons.

BBQ and Bourbon, what more can you ask for. Great place, great atmosphere. Owner down to earth and interacts with customers. Will definitely come back. Little Piggy is phenomenal.
Amazing food. I got the BBQ street tacos with brisket it was delicious! My husband got the ribs and really liked them and trying them with the different barbecue sauces they offer. Great beer selection too. Good location and nice atmosphere.

Delicious. Huge portions. I had the brisket burrito. I ate 1/4 of it and was full. The queso and chips are amazing. I will eat here again.
