Stopped here for the first time. We heard they had polish food on Thursdays. I was very skeptical. IT WAS THE BEST!! Had the polish plate. There was so much food, took more home than I ate. The cabbage rolls were excellent. Kielbasa was perfect, nit greasy. Mashed potatoes were the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Will definitely be back

Ordered catfish dinner I don't know what kind of fish it was but it was not catfish order chili on my fries terrible taste the light some no brand canned chili with nasty beans Kohl's login with it terrible charge a extra $3 for that nasty chili my bill came up to almost $30 and it was terrible would not suggest this place to anyone.. I can't believe this place is still in business

Half of the turkey reuben, the pickle and a Blake's Triple Berry was enough for dinner. The picture does not do justice to the perfectly grilled and thick bread. The service is great and the prices are reasonable.

The waitresses seem to be racist even the black ones which is such a turn off to this nice establishment. It’s no need in this day and age for the nose turn up. I specifically explained how I wanted my wine gs cooked and this is the second time that they were not cooked the way that I asked. All I wanted wanted was well done wings with Cajun seasoning, the wings that were given to me were soft like bake chicken with barely any Cajun seasoning. And the light skinned waitress was loud and unfriendly like she was better,

Wednesday evening we came in for dinner, a horrible waitress. When a large table of men came in, she completely forgot about us. We had to get up and ask for our bill, we tried to take it up and pay it, she raised her voice and said NO!! I will take it up. So much for getting anything extra we wanted. If we go back it will be taken out only.

Had a late lunch here today 3/23/24 with my wife. She had the jumbo shrimp dinner with a baked potato and cole slaw she enjoyed it. I had the big daddy burger which is a full pound burger. I ordered it rare and it was cooked to perfection. Service was great, food was great and my only complaint is the music was a little loud. But in all fairness we are baby boomers and probably the oldest people in there at the time. We will be back. Thank you Wheat and Rye for a wonderful meal.
I've come here twice because my friends wanted to, and both times the tables were filthy, the food was nasty, and servers were inattentive. The last time I came, I asked for water with no ice. She brought me a bottle of water and charged me $1.35 for it... if I knew i'd be charged for water because I wanted NO ICE, I would've just dealt with it.. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Hidden gem!!My friends and I came to watch a game and the vibe was electric. The energy in the restaurant was lively and inviting. We ordered three Reuben, French Dip and the pasta — all were hot and delicious! I wasn’t disappointed in the atmosphere, food nor service. Will definitely return

First time going to pickup for lunch, got a sandwich, a Reuben it was ok but I only had the online menu from 3 years ago when it was $ 9.95 ordered today was 17.45 or something like that. Needless to say it was not a tasty sandwich for the price but it was a very nice portion. Normally where I find a reuben sandwich I take off the 1000 island dressing and ask for mustard instead, I got mustard in packets on the side, I expected it to be grilled rye but that wasn't the case either, I asked for a takeout menu but they didn't have any. I think my expectations were as high as the price. But maybe it's just me I'll try again another day.
