Airport Wheat & Rye Reviews
Had dinner there in mid-April with some friends. In checking my credit card I found out I was being double billed for the meal. I tried about a dozen or so times to reach them by phone to get it corrected. No one answered the phone !! So I had to file my own charge dispute with my card company. My advice is watch your credit card statements !!!
Basic bar atmosphere but the food was surprisingly good and not super expensive .
We grabbed lunch before a family member's flight. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so it was pretty chill. I can totally see this place being awesome later on—it's a sports bar with a pool table. We really liked the food—huge portions of corned beef on pumpernickel, good onion rings, and fries.
Airport Wheat & Rye is a popular spot for lunch and dinner. Their menu features a variety of dishes, including burgers, corned beef, and Polish food on Thursdays. The Polish plate is a standout, with cabbage rolls, kielbasa, and mashed potatoes all receiving high praise. The service is generally great, with attentive staff and reasonable prices, though some customers have noted issues during busy times. The grilled bread is a highlight of the turkey reuben, and the pickle and Blake's Triple Berry make for a satisfying meal. However, some diners have mentioned that the portions, especially for sandwiches, can be too large. Overall, the flavors are good, but guests should keep an eye on their credit card statements due to potential billing issues.
