Wednesday evening we came in for dinner, a horrible waitress. When a large table of men came in, she completely forgot about us. We had to get up and ask for our bill, we tried to take it up and pay it, she raised her voice and said NO!! I will take it up. So much for getting anything extra we wanted. If we go back it will be taken out only.
Had a late lunch here today 3/23/24 with my wife. She had the jumbo shrimp dinner with a baked potato and cole slaw she enjoyed it. I had the big daddy burger which is a full pound burger. I ordered it rare and it was cooked to perfection. Service was great, food was great and my only complaint is the music was a little loud. But in all fairness we are baby boomers and probably the oldest people in there at the time. We will be back. Thank you Wheat and Rye for a wonderful meal.

Half of the turkey reuben, the pickle and a Blake's Triple Berry was enough for dinner. The picture does not do justice to the perfectly grilled and thick bread. The service is great and the prices are reasonable.
