We grabbed lunch before a family member's flight. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so it was pretty chill. I can totally see this place being awesome later on—it's a sports bar with a pool table. We really liked the food—huge portions of corned beef on pumpernickel, good onion rings, and fries.
Airport Wheat & Rye has such a great vibe, and Karissa matched that energy perfectly. She was welcoming, checked on us at all the right times, and made the experience feel personal. The food and drinks were great, but her service is what stood out the most.
I’ve been to Airport Wheat & Rye a few times, but this was by far my best experience because of Karissa. She was attentive without being overbearing, quick with refills, and super knowledgeable about the menu. The food was already good, but her service really elevated the whole experience.
