The actually lounge itself is pretty outdated but the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is really good. Ask for Paul, he’s so great and will make you feel at home right away. I’m honestly looking forward to my next layover in Detroit to say hi to everyone!
Can’t say enough about the kind staff. The woman with blonde hair (I regret not getting her name) could not have been more helpful as I was weighing options for rebooking due a delayed flight. She spent so much time helping me get all the info we needed to predict which option was best, including looking into the inbound flights and crew assignments to make sure the flight I chose had a good chance of taking off on time with a flight crew available. There are three sky club lounges in terminal A. This was not full when I arrived. Otherwise, you will be turned away if club is in full capacity. Great place to reset. Detroit airport is a big airport.
