The restaurant was busier than expected when we arrived, so there was a bit of a wait for our table. Even so, the staff remained friendly and kept us informed. Once seated, the food and service were both excellent and made the experience worthwhile.
I stop here 1 to 2 times a year based on my travel out of dtw. The gentleman has always been great at service and helping when I've been there to eat. The pizza reminds me of my grandma's homemade pizza.
For being a hotel bar and restaurant, I was impressed by the single staff managing the entire bar, all the tables orders as well as cooking everything. For only being one man running the restaurant, I am impressed. Pizza was great!!!!! Awesome flavor, cooked perfectly. The only reason I gave a 4 for the food/pizza I ordered was because the crust has a slightly overpowering salt flavor. Other than that, he is very polite and accommodating. Give that man a raise!!!!!
