The gentleman who handled my order this morning was kind, helpful, and understanding - I had no business making important decisions at this hour of the morning but he graciously allowed a strawberry mango smoothie (the menu lists it as either/or). The muffin was nothing to write home about, just ok. Smoothie was also fine.
Surprised by all the negative reviews. The hot coffee was great and they had milk and half and half out. You could even get an iced latte. Cinnamon roll was delicious and fresh, and soft! Only 8.00 for both. Thanks guys!!!
This is a great place to stay and park your car if you are flying out of DTW. The rooms were spacious and clean. The entire staff (valet parking attendants, bell service and front desk) were very helpful. The only concern is that we stayed on December 25th and their on-site restaurant had run out of a number of entrees. However the staff was very flexible and found a good alternative. There is a TSA security checkpoint right next to the front desk.
