Stopped in on our way home. This place is amazing!!!! The sticky burger was so so good and the lobster asparagus Mac and cheese was perfection. We had one of the best French onion soups ever!! They gave us cherry butter with our roll. Wow! So yummy.
The server was great!
This is our new go to spot when traveling up north
Great salad, amazing pasta, great service and such an awesome restaurant atmosphere!
We enjoy going to Fred's! Great food! Sometimes they are short on staff (who isn't) and waiting for food can be slow. If you're in a hurry you may want to consider this. If you're enjoying time with friends and family, it's worth the wait.
If you are in the area and looking for good food, this place is it. I honestly only gave 4 stars because you don't get the same quantity or quality when you get carryout. So I would definitely recommend eating inside. The staff is always super friendly. They do have bowling, but they don't offer open bowling very often due to all the leagues which is a bummer for us people looking for something fun to do. Either way I would still recommend this place.
The special roast beef and mashed potatoes. It was warm. Now hot. Don't like eating mashed potatoes and gravy that is warm. And it isn't the first time my food hasn't been hot
It was Mexican night and my husband ordered the wet burrito and I ordered the chicken fajitas. Delicious, awesome service, nice atmosphere. When we were leaving we told the waitress it was our anniversary and they even offered us a free sundae. Can't wait to visit again!
We were up in the area and someone suggested Fred’s. Well, it was a pleasant surprise. The place was clean, service was great and the food was excellent. We will return!
Sat at the bar and had drinks and cheese curds. Best cheese curds I've ever had and good service
I'm a bit confused about this place. There is a bowling alley? Where do you enter? Where do you sit? (we were unwelcomingly stared at by the waitresses then awkwardly moved around two different times because there were a few groups gathered...most people not in the groups were treated the same strange way) We both got Fred's Tower Burger with onion rings. Decent burger and great concept but two different kinds of pickles (it was served with deep fried and regular) to make it extra salty does not make up the fact that there is simply a literal droplet the size of a quarter of the chipotle Dijon BBQ sauce on the top bun. Disappointing, but then again, where else are you going to eat?
Arrived here in Roscommon out by the lake. Wanted some local fare. Drove into town, hoping Fred's would be open and serving. WOW...the parking lot was packed. Good sign already. Went in, the hostess (owner) greeted and seated us. The server was all over it and never stopped moving. Our table of four had Pretzel bytes, wings, french onion soup, nachos, ribs, Fred's Tower Burger, French Dip. Every single item was very well done. The candied jalapenos along with its chipotle dijon BBQ sauce was delicious and very complementary of the burger. Really took it to another level. I will be back...likely tomorrow night.

Great comfort food, up north atmosphere
Went there over the weekend. I had prime rib. My girlfriend had the salmon. Both were excellent. Very nice looking place and clean. If you ever get out that way, just stop in.
We love this place and go a few times every time we go up to our cabin. Food, drinks and people are great!
Food is really good, beer is always cold. Top 3 favorite restaurant/bars.
Food was very good as always, but the service was not. Cole slaw was brought out with our meal which is normally served first & had to ask for bread. Waitress spent too much time at the bar conversing with co workers instead of paying attention to her tables.
