Gold ball sized rocks in the bunkers. Cart died during our round, they brought us a 2nd cart and then made us switch into a 3rd cart for no reason. The GPS screen didn't work in cart #3 and the ranger ended up driving off with our Bluetooth speaker. Brought this up to the pro shop and all they said was "Sorry, our carts are old" Unacceptable for the prices they charge.
Ordered a filet medium, came back there was no juice, was so tough, when tried to cut it, it only would shred. Potatoes were cold, Asparagus was shriveled. Not at all worth the price. Gave 2 stars because the server was great and the view was nice. Not sure I'll go back...

For $220 per round, I expect sand in green side bunkers, not rocks/gravel/sand. I also didn’t expect a lack of carts available and the cart we were issued ran low on power 3 holes in. The staff was very nice and doing their best on a busy Friday afternoon when they had an event…I get it. However, for that kind of green fee rate, everything should be a top notch experience.
The loop was terrible...conditions lousy. WAY too expensive for what that course is. It'll catch up to them charging $200+.The Dunes was a great track, AVOID the Loop...Was warned it wasn't good, should have listened.
We went to this restaurant quite often before Covid and always came away satisfied with the service, quality of food and price within reason. Went back after Covid, the experience diminished appreciably, especially with the food. The menu got much smaller and the prices went up with the quality of preparation went down. Neighbours called, lets give them another chance. Nope, same experience, definitely, not what the upscale surroundings would indicate. If your after value, there are a lot of restaurants in this area that will provide better food for 1/2 the price. Definitely not what this place was before Covid.
Was a great place to work and the food was better then most places that charge the same price for.
We are weekender’s.... and come up pretty much every weekend and we’re always looking for different places to eat. Not many really nice restaurants in the area so upon a friend’s recommendation we decided to give the place a try with my sister and her husband. The clubhouse and the grounds look impressive as you’re driving up. We were seated promptly in the dining area with a wonderful view of the course. Interior is nice but, not fancy. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. After reviewing the menu, we were ready the place our order. Food arrived in a timely manor. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the Fish and Chips. The other members of our party had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and the Walleye. Everything was average at best. Ribeye was just plain tasteless, the Alfredo sauce was terrible and the chicken was over cooked. The Fish and Chips were OK, but didn’t stand out. According to my brother in law the Walleye was good but not great. Bottom line food was OK but it certainly didn’t stand out especially for want they charged. Ribeye was $32 and the Fish and Chips were $16...and to be honest you can get the same meal for half that price but with much better taste at a few other bar/restaurants in the area. In all fairness, I wasn’t expecting the Capital Grille and I have no issues paying for a good meal but this really fell short.
We had lunch and dinner at Sangomore's and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from virtually every table. Seafood chowder for lunch tasted homemade and was delicious, so I looked forward to dinner. After ordering Chicken Marsala, I was told the item had been removed from the menu. I asked what chicken dishes they did have and was told none. I'm not sure I've ever been to a restaurant that didn't have a chicken dish on the menu, and I would recommend the chef come up with something (Piccata, BBQ, Parmesan). Alternatively I ordered the filet and was disappointed in the quality of the beef. This is a beautiful setting, but the food needs some work.
