I actually seen the advertisement on Facebook a few weeks ago and was excited to patronize the business. It's really hard to find delicious, clean , great location, healthy portions and great deals for restaurants theses days. Well long story short I had the opportunity to meet the new new owner very pleasant. I was expressed by the lunch deals 4 for $38 amazing. Well here we go I made my purchase Dec 30th yesterday. I arrive home it was not good it taste as if it was reheated and day old . I knew when I was eating it I didn't enjoy each bit I ate . I though it was just me my daughter, son's and my daughter dad said it was horrible and I didn't mention my experience. I told them I found a new place that was advertised on Facebook a few weeks ago and I was eager to try and new to the area. My family said I should have took it back and got a refund. Yes we did eat it I don't like doing ratings like this but I have to be honest. Everyone's pallet is different I had 5 family members give there opinion as a 1st impression. I pray much success with some changes , upgrades and suggestions from the community . Happy New Year.. Pearl City and Staff.

I haven't eaten at Pearl City since 2019. Previous owners started good, but let the food slide. New ownership for three months.
I decided to give them another try to see if anything had changed. IT DID.
New owner Fong has an updated menu with new recipes. I ordered something simple - Sesame Chicken. WOW!! So different from any other place. Not overwhelming. Most places use too much Soy and vinegar. Slightly sweet and sticky. Actually perfect. Fried rice was moist and tasty and a single dinner portion is alot of food!

Loved the Chow Mein and Pork Wontons! The chow mein is fantastic—full of that smoky wok flavor and so satisfying. The wontons were a highlight: silky-thin skins filled with deliciously seasoned, tender pork. Even without shrimp, they were incredibly tasty and comforting. A definite must-try!

Great food and even better service! Everything was fresh and flavorful, and their boba tea is really good too. Definitely one of my new favorite Chinese spots—highly recommend

The place is really nice and the portions are huge, Food is always freshly made and not expensive at all. I would 100% recommend the Crab Ragoon, freshly made in the house and the best ive had.

I saw they were having a promotion on DoorDash, so I ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken, and other snacks. The taste exceeded my expectations, and the price was incredibly reasonable. It's rare to find a restaurant with such low prices these days. The owner was very welcoming; they even gave me Christmas decorations when I picked up my order. I'm already looking forward to ordering my Thanksgiving party dinner from them before Thanksgiving! 🥰
