“A super nice lady helped me out—I was short on money, but she said it was okay. The meal I wanted get costs $23.00, but I only had $18. She still gave it to me anyway! The food was delicious and definitely worth it, especially for my first time.“

“So disappointing. Yearssssss ago, this place used to be my go to for Mediterranean dishes. After 2020, this place has consistently gone down hill. At first it was "hit or miss" but its all "miss". So much so that I went to be bed hungry vs eating my carry out. It's so unfortunate because they used to be so good. Yesterday was my last try, I bow out.“

“Came in with a group of 6 while the place was packed. In such cases, I don’t expect the service to be great, what with staff attention being stretched thin and all. Wasn’t the case here. Food was out quite quick and was absolutely delicious. Service is amazing and we got to meet the owner, Brian. You can tell when a restaurant has soul. I’ll be back.“

“This review is way over due. What can i say but WOW!!! Lyla makes quality food! QUALITY! The Tabbouleh has a perfect flavor. I love lemon and the flavor is just right. And, Lyla and staff take the time to take off each parsley leaf off of the stem!!!!!! Who does that? I think of myself as a soup connoisseur of soup! Grew up in a Polish family with all kinds of homemade soup. Let me tell you that the chicken ginger soup made on Wednesday is over the top scrumptiously delicious. Really! The other soups too are very good but the chicken ginger soup is my favorite. The hummus is some of the best I’ve tasted as well as the garlic spread/dip WOWZA. If you like garlic this is for you and goes well alone on pita or grape leaves. Recently I got grilled eggplant topped with lamb. Yep, sure was yummy. “Got carry out while they were under construction. The labne and sojok sandwiches are amazing. Great baba ghannouj - usually if a restaurant can nail this dish everything else is gonna be good. Tabbouleh was on point as well. I'll be back for sure.
