Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Best fried chicken in the area. The sauces were great, the fries were great, the legs and thighs were great, and the tenders were great. 10/10.

Edit** I absolutely LOVED Lee's Chicken. The below comment is a joke. A really awful night club/bar used to exist where Lee's now sits.

Even better that it was built on the grave of the worst night club in Macomb County. RIP*** Dooley's.

A 4 star is due to Mac and Cheese just didn’t have that Mac n Cheese Flavor. Chicken had a juicy texture 👌. Potato Wedges were okay. Customer service was 👍🏻👍🏻!! Check Em out if you haven’t already.

The manager at Lee’s famous chicken was absolutely fantastic. There were these really rude customers that made a scene over Nothing at all. The manager handled them with dignity and more than a fair share of compassion. All of the food was hot fresh and amazing. We will definitely come back again

Good friend told me they had awesome pot pies, so I stopped by ordered a 4pc with mash gravy & mac n cheese & sweet tea

The chicken was awesome , and I could eat way more. wish they were bigger. Mash n gravy was mediocre, same as the mac n cheese.

Sweet tea was a disappointment.

You shouldn't have a rewards program if you're not going to honor the rewards. I had rewards for a free 2-piece meal and I was advised that I would get only $1 dollar off.

I've been here a few times. it's always served hot and fresh, and the service is usually pleasant when ordering inside or drive-thru.

Parking: I usually order the 2 piece meal, but I'm quite sure everything is great there.

Went to get dinner with my husband and my chicken sandwich was undercooked. When we took the food back the manager tried to tell me that the chicken is pressure cooked on a timer. So I said all the chicken sandwiches are undercooked. He couldn't say anything! Never again cause you won't kill me with salmonella. I already feel funning after taking a bite.

When I tell you this chicken was so good, hot and fresh! The seasoning was on point! It wasn’t sitting up there getting dried out like kfc or Popeyes!!! I will most definitely be back asap!! I originally ordered the 3 wings combo but I ate it before I can take a picture 😂😂 but I ordered this breast for lunch and it was still juicy! You must try!!

We visited recently and got a takeout meal.

The chicken meal tasted good but was really, really greasy.

The coleslaw slaw was good.

The biscuits were very good.

The mashed potatoes were good and the gravy was great.

The "Spicy Jumbo Dippers" were bland but the BBQ sauce was great.

Chicken is decent. Different. Crispy and light. Not super salty. A little more fatty than you would hope to see. Overall good flavor tho. The biscuits are good. Always fresh. But as far as the other sides, I haven't had anything good. From the mash potatoes bland, Cajun rice supposedly bland, and the BBQ baked beans were super sweet and drenched in this syrup base. I wouldn't recommend any.
Go for the chicken and biscuits. I may try the cole slaw next time.
Service is always nice and they greet you with a smile. So that alone is a nice change of pace from most fast food chicken places. It's pretty new now, so let's just hope this type of service continues even well after the honeymoon phase wears off.
The last meal I got from them, actually last night wasn't the best. But I'd go back and try them again.
