I moved to the west side of Michigan 5+ years ago and National Coney is one of the chains that I miss the most. I wish they would expand west! I came to this location on a Saturday night with a couple people and it was your standard coney! I had a late lunch that day and I didn't plan to get a meal so I went with my go to dessert at National -- a hot fudge sundae! Literally so good and it hit the spot. The people I was with got the original hani, the southwest hani, fries, and a bowl of chili. The original hani still stands at the top of my list for a quick, cheap, and tasty meal. All the food looked and smelled great and honestly everything about a national coney is super nostalgic for me. We sat around for a little longer than we'd like waiting for them to come collect our bill/payment and the busser started bussing our table super early so it made us laugh a little bit bc it felt like we were getting rushed out but no worries about it honestly.

The food was your typical American diner food. I recommend the burgers or chicken Hani. Of course, you can't forget the chili cheese fries! Servers are so sweet and friendly. They have low staffing, so some food items were forgotten. It was no worries, though, as the food that was brought out was plenty.
