First time customers. We happened to be driving by on our way home to Manistee. Pleasantly surprised, everything was excellent. Will be back to try the taco pizza in the near future. Highly recommend.

A coworker and I came through this little town if I'm within 25 miles of this place, I'm coming. This is the most authentic delicious made to order. It's clean Mexican restaurant I've ever been into. We travel the whole state and we eat everywhere and by far. This is one of the best places service, food and atmosphere. We've ever had.We will be back every time we're anywhere close..

The people are so friendly, the tamales are awesome, and the Mexican pizza was amazing!
Tacos were absolutely delicious and came out quickly. Lengua was soft and velvety and totally worth the trip over. Barbacoa was really tasty. Overall all the flavors were strong and fresh.
Didn't have the tamales, but the rest of my party seemed to be a big fan.
Staff was very friendly and the dining room and restaurant was clean.
Would definitely make the effort to stop if you're in the area.

Best Food After Electric Forest!
We stopped by Rico’s Tamales right after Electric Forest and were blown away. The tamales and barbacoa tacos were so good we literally came back the next morning for more—they were that unforgettable.
This is truly authentic Mexican food—fresh, flavorful, and made with so much love. You can taste the tradition in every bite.
On top of that, Fred, the owner, is incredibly friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us like family and made the whole experience even more special. It’s rare to find a spot that makes you feel this good and feeds you the best food ever.
