If you price everything at $$$ pricing then it should come with similar service. We weren't given any serving spoons with any of the dishes. If people are sharing brings spoons. If tables are ordering starters, salads, and mains offer to swap out the plates for mains. Look $40 for an entree is a lot so provide the same service any other place with $40 entrees would. Our server was the bartender and on a busy Saturday don't give them a section of tables. You can't be attentive. When they came to the table they were great but we were dependent on the other staff to take care of us. Why put scallop in with the tartare? I didn't catch this and had a pretty bad allergic reaction. Totally on me because I didn't read it but also my open table profile does say I have a shellfish allergy. Again, not the responsibility of the restaurant however, there's a reason why open table let you add those things to your profile. I like Beppe and I will continue to eat there, but this experience was mid and I'll stick to weekdays

Adore Beppé and will always come back. Would love to keep this gem relatively secret, but I understand/hate the need to drum up more business as a survival mechanism in this capitalistic hellscape we find ourselves in. Beppé is probably the best restaurant in Royal Oak.

We had a really great first experience at Beppé. My husband and I stopped in on a weeknight for a light dinner. We shared the croquettes, the beet salad and the rabbit pasta. Wow! Really tasty food, the standout was the beet salad on olive oil whipped feta. Really beautiful, thoughtful dishes using high quality ingredients. Wait staff was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We sat on the patio and had a really lovely all around experience. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I had higher expectations for this place. The beets and ricotta with bread were good. The crudo looked great but was very vinegar forward. The lamb belly left much to be desired while the veal tartar was crumbly and very salty. I liked the ambiance but would not return.

Delicious food and great service-will definitely go again but don't go there if you want to be able to hear whomever you're dining with lol. It was very loud and being such a small place the acoustics weren't great. But loved every other part of the experience👍🏻👍🏻

We met friends who have never dined here before. Drinks were delicious as well as the food which was well prepared and creative. Our server was friendly and attentive. We asked to dine inside even though I had booked a patio table and were graciously accommodated. We weren't rushed so we enjoyed catching up with our friends who were in from out of town.

Dining outdoors at Beppe was a pleasure! The waitress was attentive as was the busboy -- he had his eyes on every table to see what was needed! The menu is unusual and varied. We all shared a bean side dish that was pleasing and one of us had a hamburger that was unusually good. The french fries were very good, though a bit salty. The bronzino was yummy and unusually presented. All in all, a successful evening...

The service is always great but the food misses almost every time. The price does not match up with the quality of food or the creation and execution of the dishes. For example, having a crudo on the menu and smothering it in caesar dressing with chopped up pickles is not the elevated cooking I expect with this price level.
