The food was fabulous - I had the chicken bowl which was massive! Special shout out to Mel, for being an absolute gem. It was a Saturday, she was training someone new, and we definitely were not the only people in there. And yet, she was still friendly and personable, was keeping everything moving, and did it all with a smile. It's people like Mel that really heighten any dining experience. Thanks New York Deli, for a terrific meal!

It’s not the best Reuben I’ve had. The corned beef and the thousand Island were okay. That said, the portion size was solid, and the bread was toasted perfectly, which definitely helped. Honestly, the sandwich itself is more of a 3 star, but the people working there are so nice, and the place is clean and welcoming. You can tell they really care about their customers, and that’s why I’m giving them four stars.

I wrote a very detailed review and it was not recognized via my password. Sooooo........to do it again, short version: Updated interior - outstanding. Food - just as wonderful as Big Al's was; huge serving of corned beef, very lean. Sandwiches were perfect. Will definitely be returning to this terrific deli restaurant.

The best experience I’ve had at any deli. You can tell Mark runs this place, he cares so much and the place looks super clean. I will absolutely be back. Hard to find good customer service these days but you will absolutely find good service here and even better food!
Delicious food and service.
PURE GARBAGE!!!
“The corned beef sandwich at New York Deli was phenomenal—tender, juicy slices of corned beef piled high on perfectly toasted rye, and the side of crisp pickles was a great touch. The place was spotless, with a bright, welcoming vibe that made the meal even better. Service was quick and friendly. Can’t wait to come back for another!”
Great service, super clean, food was great.
If you don’t know what authentic deli is, then you can eat here. Otherwise, don’t eat here! Quality of corned beef is bad. Bread is just white bread. I won’t be back!!! Go to Bresd basket instead for the good authentic deli food!!
Very good quality food. Nice people too. I had the French Dip. Excellent!!

I was curious to see if the quality would remain from the former Al’s. I say yes.
The dated interior has been refreshed with new almost everything. They’ve managed to add more seating and almost every surface area is new. It feels so much cleaner.
My favorite sandwiches are the pastrami. It feels like the perfect combo of fat & meat like a good smoked brisket should. In addition to sandwiches they offer many sides that you’d find in a typical NYC Jewish deli ranging from halva to smoked meats.
While the food is tasty some things I find just over priced. $4 for a can of soda…that’s game day prices.
The staff is helpful and friendly. Food is served promptly. The name might have changed but at least the goodness has not.
The food was delicious and the place was so clean also the owner such an amazing guy he makes you fell like family.. highly recommend this place everyone should try it.
We have tried them several times and each time has been the worst deli sandwiches we have ever had. They used to be good several years ago. Now tasteless and fatty. We will never go back.

Horribly disappointing. The bread is no longer double baked. I specifically asked if the bread was hot when I ordered. It was packed in a plastic bag and was soggy, cold and tasteless. The corn beef was dry and had a tinny taste. The cole slaw was not good. This was not a good experience.
