I had a solid experience at Bucharest Grill in Royal Oak — the food here is very good and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed their sandwiches and shawarma, which are tasty and satisfying without being over-priced. The staff was friendly and did a good job with service, which made the visit pleasant. I also liked the relaxed, casual atmosphere; it’s a nice place for a quick lunch or dinner stop. There’s a lot of menu variety, and you can tell they take pride in the recipes and quality of the food. Overall, I’m happy to give this place a positive review and would recommend it if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern style wraps and sandwiches.

I ordered a chicken shawarma and a lamb shawarma. Lamb was terrible and the chicken dry.

This past Sunday evening I purchased a chicken & a lamb shawarma from this location, anticipating an amazing dinning experience based on the recommendation from friends about this spot... I was pleased with the chicken shawarma , it was moist, seasoned to perfection ... The lamb however was the total opposite, the shawarma consisted of the worst, toughest, rubbery, gristled pieces of what was supposed to be lamb... A complete waste of my money & a major disappointment considering I'd been looking forward to the shawarma all day.... So unfortunate, this type of experience Is how companies lose faithful patrons... I'd get the chicken again, won't do the lamb ever again.... Do better Bucharest , Do better.

I usually love getting a shawarma here, but I don’t think I’ll be back after trying the lamb today. There was so much rubbery cartilage that I threw out the sandwich after 4 bites. I don’t want to be rude but frankly it was disgusting! What a waste of food and money!

Went there when they opened, was pretty good, but just tried them again and the food was not good. They've declined to the point of not being worth it.

Unless you have a lot of time and patience to wait for your order, which may or may not be hot when you get your food - go elsewhere.

I was disappointed because I thought based on the name that they would actually serve Romanian food. Sigh, it does not.

If you ever wondered what an amazing sandwich like shawarma tasted like, don't go here. Sandwich was beyond mid, had weird ingredients, was dry, not enough, garlic, etc. What sucks about this place is it's American Arab food but done horribly. At least chipotle or taco bell is American food mocking Mexican but it tastes good. Service was nice but that's it, place is cheeks.

The customer service is definitely lacking and attention to detail I asked for no pita chips on my salad it was loaded with pita chips and very little chicken. Also there was no dressing in the bag good thing I checked before leaving because this is the second time they've got my order wrong or left something out. Last visit I paid for extra garlic only to get home and it was sour cream (I had drive all the way back). The staff is more concerned with being on their phones than focusing on customer service. I will give this location a break especially after reading the recent reviews this seems to be one of many outgoing issues at this location!

Ordered 4 wraps a quesadilla and grape leaves. Never got the grape leaves. They took down my info. Few days later drove up there to get my missing item they all are clueless
