The staff was cool and helpful. They have multiple options of different type of burgers. I tried the crispy chicken sliders and sweet potato fries. I tired what I know and it was good but I would like to return to try other flavors and options

Attempted to call several times, and got immediately disconnected. Google and yelp show as open. Drove up there, and there was a note saying it is temporarily closed due to technical reasons. Everything was removed from the Inside. Too easy to update the apps, but they didn't. Nothing special about the burgers. People who took my orders in the past were unprofessional.

I ordered a carry out and the restaurant called back to say they were out of Wagyu beef and I needed to choose something else. I did. 10 minutes passed and I get another call saying they are out of sweet potatoes for fries, had to choose something else again. Just was odd to get two separate phone calls, and that they were out of things on a weekday afternoon outside of busy hours. Food was just okay overal, burger was dry. Update - wanted to give them another chance and tried take out again. They forgot half my order! I called to get a refund and they first tried to blame me that I only ordered one item, and then they saw the second on the receipt. There are many other take out burger joints that will receive my business, this isn't one of them.

Great for a quick but delicious meal! The grilled chicken sandwich is my favorite. Everything tastes fresh - wonderful flavor across the board. Always nice and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!!

Looking for a quick burger and wanted to try something new. Was not disappointed!!! Greeted immediately and found ordering a very personalized burger a snap. Burgers, fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries were all really good. My family will definitely be back.

I won a $5 gift card to Burgerim recently and came here today to use it, since I was in the area after a doctor appointment. I scoped out the menu ahead of time, but when I arrived, some of the menu pics on Yelp were outdated (already?!). I ended up doing the two for $6.99 deal, where you get two 3 ounce patties and therefore get to try more menu items. I ordered the regular burger, plus the grilled chicken sandwich, "California style" (listed on the old menu but not this one), which comes with Swiss cheese, arugula, and avocado. I made it a combo (drink + side) and paid the upcharge for onion rings, as well - it's +$3 for a combo, which is reasonable, or +$3.79 or so for onion rings or sweet potato fries. Everything I had was delicious. I think I actually liked the grilled chicken sandwich more than the burger ... I'm not sure if the counter person thought I wanted my burger "California style" as well, I had asked for no lettuce but got some arugula in it. The burger was tasty too but I think was cooked well done (they don't ask you how you want it cooked) and I usually prefer medium or medium well. The onion rings were PERFECTION ... super crispy and delicious. They have a Coke Freestyle machine so I got vanilla root beer with my dinner, then later filled it up with cherry vanilla coke. I was impressed by the staff here as well - the man behind the counter who kept checking in with the cooks brought me a to-go box for the rest of my onion rings, and even put the rings in the box for me. He also cleared my table for me while I was later playing on my phone, after finishing my meal, and asked me how everything had tasted. My combo meal would have been about $11 without my $5 off (it was $6 instead), which is a little pricey but not too bad considering the quality of the food and how much of it I received. Next time I'd like to try the crispy chicken sandwich or perhaps one of the other burger choices - they have a Spanish burger, which the counter lady said was a little spicier, as well as lamb and falafel choices, among others. I also noticed they had garlic fries, and later wished I had ordered that, although the onion rings were great. The reason it gets 4/5 from me instead of 5/5 stars is that the atmosphere is just okay. I'm not sure if it was because I was there at night or what, but it just seemed kind of drab. Hard to explain. Burgerim overall reminded me of Smashburger, except their burgers are normal-sized and not thin like theirs are. Side note, they don't take American Express - I paid with a Visa instead. Definitely would come back here when in the area, there is one in Troy too so I'll probably check that one out too, though.

Really enjoyed this place. It's a perfect fast casual burger joint. I would say this place is significantly better then the fast casual burger competitors in the area. Service was very good - and the restaurant was sooooo clean. The fries are delicious and the burgers were fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Two bad experiences with this corporation in the past week. Craving the BurgerIm I had in California, I was willing to drive out 30-45 minutes from my home to have a crispy chicken burger. On Thursday I drove 30 minutes to a different BurgerIM only to find them closed during regular hours, almost two hours earlier. That was my first attempt at BurgerIM. This was a different location than the one being reviewed. Still having the cravings, I decided to attempt another shot at BurgerIM - but this time Royal Oak, 45 minute drive. We walk in, barley greeted. We're ready to order but it's a while before our order is taken(only ones there). I drove 45 minutes for them to be out of chicken? How are you out of chicken? We get past this and settle on falafel instead. We then are told they do not have fries either???? So we need to choose sweet potato for our side. We choose the sweet potato and we each got charged extra for the sweet potato?????? I'm so confused why I'm paying extra for something I didn't want to begin with but had to get because it was the only side for the combo... mind you it's only .79 cent each - it's nothing , but doesn't make sense to charge me in this situation knowing you're already out of everything I drove here for. I didn't want to stay but my partner did because it was late and there were no other options near by. As for the food, it was okay the falafel was too big/thick for a falafel but the sweet potato fries were pretty good for sweet potato. Would like to return but probably won't come back due to the shortage of products.

On the first day we dined in, the burgers were great and the orders correct. The second visit was a very different experience. Two out of 3 orders were incorrect and burgers over cooked. I just overlooked my incorrect burger order but noticed the carry out order was incorrect as well. The cashier was unapologetic. Additionally she had an attitude as if it was my fault she entered the order wrong. I will not eat at the location again.

Amazing burger and even better fries. BurgerIM is definitely one of the best fast casual restaurants in the Detroit area. I highly recommend. I am looking forward to trying more items on their menu next time. The wings look fabulous.
