Cacao Tree always hits the spot. It’s always fresh and just enough food. My usual is the rainbow wrap, though you really can’t make a bad choice for whatever you’re feeling like ordering. I’ll grab a smoothie for a little something extra and the ingredients are always clean and delicious. This is food I can trust and know that it’ll always deliver.
We stopped in today for late lunch. So glad we did!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the zoodle pasta salad! It was the best! Everything was fresh and flavorful. My husband had the superfood bowl. I’m looking forward to make the trip that way again real soon!!
Cute place with great Veg food. We get take out from here. It's cute but quite small
Great service. Great food. Friendly. Clean. A+++
It's definitely worth a visit! It's going to be a regular stop for me in the future.
Our favorite was the burrito, which had good flavors, but a lot of lettuce. I got the superfood bowl, which I liked the toppings of a lot, my partner wasn’t crazy about the salad dressing though and seasoned it with salt and pepper. The love potion smoothie was pretty good, not very sweet and very nutty. The raw dessert raspberry chzcake was very yummy!
Fresh, high quality southwest salad that was very tasty and a good portion
If you’re having a day. Go there. Not only is the food perfection, but the general vibes will heal any ailment you might have. 11/10 would recommend to ANYONE
I ate here twice in two days says it all. Wonderfully creative smoothies and nutritious bowls. I feel healthily transformed just eating here. My new spot when traveling to this area.
I don't usually eat salads, but these would make you love eating salads! They're full of flavor and make for a filling meal with their fresh soups. I also picked up some desserts, they have a lot of different kinds in their fridge. They also make fresh smoothies you can easily customize. - General Tso Salad (mixed greens with sesame-nut crumble (almond, pumpkin, sesame seeds), red cabbage, cucumber, rainbow carrots, avocado, cilantro, basil, scallion and choice of General Tso sauce or Ginger Lime dressing) - Mexican Salad (romaine, seasoned nut "meat" (walnuts, almonds, sunflower), pico de gallo, avocado, cashew sour cream, pickled onion, chipotle vinaigrette or ranch dressing (cashew) - Sweet Potato Quinoa Soup -Chickpea Miso Soup - Tahini Fudge - Orange Creamsicle Parfait - Horchata Pie Bar - Cinnamon Bun Smoothie

This is what good, healthy vibrant food tastes like—Thank goodness for Cacao Tree cafe!! I’ve been a long time customer and I am never disappointed. The food and smoothies are excellent—plant-based, vegetarian and primarily free of gluten, dairy, eggs and soy . It’s flavorful and delicious. The interior is fairly small with a strong hippie vibe. Customer service is excellent and friendly. It’s not inexpensive, but I think it’s fairly priced given the quality of the ingredients. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots when I’m in Royal Oak
I love this place!! Truely a healthy place for food for fuel for ur body!!! No filler oils or artificial crap!! They don’t over salt or over butter it up to make the food taste good!! Truely healthy food reaturaunt! And my gosh the people that work there are always so congenial and helpful!! U really appreciate the hard work that goes into serving this fresh healthy great food. I highly reccomend this spot!! I love the soups and salads and ohhh my gosh!! The deserts are to die for! I couldn’t say what
was my fav because they’ve all been spot on!!! I’ve eaten in and taken out and reccomend both!!!! They wrap the soups so nicely so it hasn’t spilled by the time u get home!! I think they pay attention to the little details!!
What a wonderful treat! I was visiting the area for business and found this location on HappyCow. The owner is enthusiastic, and the staff is great. Food speaks for itself! According to the owner, other than organic local honey that is put in some of the smoothies, everything else is vegan.
Definitely hippie central, but wow, the salads are stupendously good! Expect to spend about $16 to $20 for a meal, which makes sense for the high quality of the food. That said, it’s pricier than what most folks are probably used to.
Heads up—this is not the place for a quiet meeting or a laptop session. Blenders are constantly running just a few feet away from you, so it’s not ideal for work or a chill coffee hangout.
Overall, high-quality food that’s worth the price, but maybe save it for when you’re in the mood for some loud, healthy vibes!

Small but bursting with positive vibes! Food was unique and delicious. Staff was lovely. I went with two non-vegans who enjoyed their food immensely! Updated from previous review on 2024-10-18
