The bowl was quite tasty but the price was over $10 .. who knew trying to eat healthy would break my bank . Also, it's location isn't conducive for a quick in and out experience . The address really isn't on Main St. It's more like Main street-ish, half block east, in front of Emagine Theater, next to next to Detroit Taco. If you're new to Royal Oak or visiting for the first time just give yourself some time

If you're going to charge $8 for a smoothie, it better be with FRESH (not frozen) fruit AND your service better be great. Neither of these were the case. Fruit was frozen. Employee was rude and seemed miserable, almost like he was annoyed that I was there to order. Never again. The taco spot next to it is bomb though!

I give very few reviews, but I was truly upset this morning when I went off my regular drive to work, to be there when they open at 10am. I went in and nobody was there. The other restaurant in the same building was open and said nobody showed up. I waited for 15 minutes for literally nothing. Nobody came and nobody left a note. I’m not sure who is the manager of this establishment let alone the owner. But I’d be upset if I was either one knowing nobody showed up to open the place. I usually love their breakfast but today you made me late to work waiting and hoping someone would show up to open it

Service is really really bad here. Arrived at 10:55, was not able to order until 11:05, and finally received our food after 11:30. Do not recommend coming here if you are on a tight schedule or have high expectations for the service. Food is good/average. Not worth the wait though

Wow! I'm sincerely impressed. Usually, when I go to the Cafe Succo at this location, the staff hasn't been friendly and the service was pretty slow. BUT, I went the other day (6/27) and the staff member there, I believe her name was Leah, was AMAZING! She was super friendly, efficient, and quick. I've never had a better experience here. I ordered the revive bowl. It was fresh and delicious! I love being helped by an employee who is kind and cares about their work - Leah's service and friendliness definitely changed my mind about Cafe Succo and now I plan to be back there many times in the future!
When I read the other reviews about Succo I thought it was a bit harsh. I've been getting food from there at least 3 times a week so I have a lot to say. Succo's hours are 10-4 but it's usually closed by 3-3:30. I asked one of the staff members why they always close early and he simply told me that they just didn't have enough staff to cover the place and the available staff that they had can only work for a few hours at a time due to school. Don't forget the kids who work there are either in high school or college! From what I've seen and been told, Succo doesn't get a lot of business. The guy who's usually there tells me he gets 3-4 customers a day, tops. So no wonder the staff is always on their phone. Did people expect them to just sit there and hope for someone to show up? I'd be bored out of my mind sitting there for 6 hours! One big thing I've noticed though, when I place an order on Grubhub, by the time my food arrives it's already melted. I'm sure the restaurant didn't intentionally make it that way but it must've been the delivery process. They do recommend dinning in for the best quality though. So be warned! Anyways, there are of course issues with the place. One thing is the location, it's in the same building as Detroit Taco, but if you're not a regular you'll mistake the garage entrance as Succo's entrance. However, I believe the major issue is with the management, they can't staff the store which forces it to close early and make customers like me complain on Yelp. Overall Cafe Succo is a great concept and their food is always delicious! The staff is always friendly and willing to cater to my needs. I will definitely bring going back soon !

Food is delicious but service is terrible, the man working is extremely rude and dry and was on his phone half the time and didn't get our order correctly and got annoyed when we tried to tell him it was missing toppings. The service is typically amazing, I was very shocked by this particular worker.

I love the açaí bowls here but unfortunately their service is horrific. I went in on multiple occasions where the staff member is just on their phone and I have to wait a good 10 minutes before even being recognized. I went in today and was told that his shift had ended and I had to wait for the other staff to get there..? I thought it was very rude and just not acceptable to be leaving if the other staff isn't there to replace you. They definitely need new workers here

To start, I LOVE cafe succo in Birmingham, but I live closer to this location! It is connected to Detroit taco which is a fairly well staffed and efficient establishment. Almost always the ONE person working at cafe succo when you walk up is on their phone or completely not there. If you try and call, don't. No one will answer. Ever. Try right now! When you're ordering the worker there generally seems miserable and gives you the feeling they are trying to suck the life out of you. Overall, they need to be restaffed. They also are almost never open when they are said to be open on their posted hours. Food seems fresh...? Their concept is now in freshii and many other healthy food restaurants, if they want more business than those establishments they should consider doing some things differently.
