Chicken Shack Royal Oak 11 Mile

Wow this place has gone down hill. Ordered a 3pc cod dinner, what a disappointment. The pieces used to be decent sized, but not ad big as say the cod at Culver's. These pieces were HALF the size they've used to be and prices are to high for what I ordered. I'd almost swear these were frozen pieces of cod they just drop in the fryers. I used to order from here often, but the last few times with the prices and portions, I find better quality and value at others places..... I was really disappointed. 😢😢😢

I when to chicken shack 1320 East11 mile Rd. this was my first visit at the store and last visit he served me Old chicken and the chicken was dry and not good.. absolutely awful. My french fries had been fried about three times and I got very sick from this Food Chicken to the point where I took pictures and I think the board of health should step in the chicken had to have been made the day before or early in the morning and it should have been thrown in the garbage, but because I was hungry I did eat a piece and a half. I threw up everywhere. My stomach was hurting and when I smelled the chicken, something was not right I am a great fan of chicken shack chicken but I always use Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak on Woodward Street. I want to talk to the owner concerning this issue. I did see the guy he kept looking at me I should have asked for my money back. I don’t know what he did to that chicken, but it was absolutely unacceptable and awful.#NastyChickenShack 🤦🏽‍♀️

It's Friday August 8 I was in the mood for chicken shack I and another customer was the only people that came in I ordered a four peace chicken dinner mason was nice then. Now mind you the employees where just talking and just maybe putting me and the the man that was there order together mason took my order at 🕒5:35pm I didn't get my order til6:10 pm every person that came in ordered there food and left still not telling me please be patient mason I called him I said I've been waiting to long oooo we are now backed up I was so heated I was praying. Then when I got my food I said for my wait can I have a drink he rolled his eyes and that did it this place is the pits no good customer service at all by......... and my potatoes was cooked hard and my chicken was kind of raw.

Don’t usually write bad reviews, but this place deserves it today. Went in to order a 5pc meal at 11:34am. They told me about 10 mins. By 11:50 we had to leave and luckily they hadn’t even STARTED the order yet! When asked for a refund the manager came over, returned my money and said “here you go!”. No sorry, no nothing. Meanwhile, a bunch of DoorDash orders were made and sent out, catering orders made, etc. just close your lobby if you don’t give a crap about customers walking in to order. Do better, Chicken Shack!

First time here since the early 2000s. The chicken was still excellent. But the fish wasn't as good as i remember! But the potatoes and coleslaw are the reason to go here!! Fast fresh food and it was 20 min before close.

ever since COVID, the quality of food has DRASTICALLY decreased, very easy to tell they switched to a different, cheaper; food supplier to save money, and you can taste it. BUT at the same time they’re charging more for their food, when it’s less quality…. make it make sense please…?? This place is far far far from the “chicken shack” we are all used to, outside of the broasted potatoes.

Call in the order with cold as ice we waited 15 minutes just to get cold chicken and cold potatoes
