Wow! Staying at a hotel a couple of bocks away so we decided to try it here for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! Marvin was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! Order a pomegranate blueberry mule, and you will thank me!Parking: There is a large paid lot right across the street that is really inexpensive (75 cents an hour)

Food was very good. 12 people with different dishes and everyone was happy. Service was stellar. Fast, flexible and a great attitude. Restaurant was clean, but restroom for men's outside in a corridor was less than.

We all had wonderful meals - the arancini was delicious! The salads were fresh and tasty. I had the honey pepper brisket and I understand why it is a customer favorite. My sister had the shrimp scampi ravioli - yummy! My other sister had the filet, which she said was very good. Our nephew had the rigatoni siciliano, which he said was scrumptious. We were too full for dessert! We will be back!

Marvin was our Server and was outstanding- food was delicious (filet mignon and honeyed brisket with orzo). Marvin's attention and sincerity to great service made this a truly special evening for my Wife and I.

This restaurant had a beautiful ambience great servers and you really get an amazing amount of delicious food off an amazing price. My total for three people with drinks was 115. I've spent $85 at Applebee's

Restaurant empty at 5:pm told us reservations only. Sent us next door to Gracie's. To dark to see menu, only high top tables, chipping and blistered black paint on tables. Stools were falling apart and not comfortable. For the price of food not worth eating there.

Enjoyed dinner after a show at theatre in town. Food was good. I ordered chicken parm and was surprised that it was served with 2 chicken piece, the portion is giant. We started with cheese bread which was delish. Our server was was super friendly.

A pretty looking restaurant, but the food is expensive for being only all right. Their signature dishes weren't anything special. Cocktails were good

Food is excellent. I got the penne pasta with palomino sauce, add salmon. My boyfriend got the chicken Marsala and wow was it tasty. Bartender was pretty busy and fell short on the rail due to the amount of service tickets he was working on. He was doing his best, considering he also had a section. If there had been one more bartender, I would've given this a 5 star. My partner and I were starving and had to wait a while before he made his way over. I noticed the same with the other guests. Interior is lovely, dim and romantic. Will be back when it's not as busy. Great date night spot, and live music (beautiful jazz) playing next door with a full bar and serving the same menu, so check this place out!!

Always a special time at D'Amato's! Tony is an owner/operator that is hands on and makes sure the team delivers a great experience every single visit. We thoroughly enjoyed every course. We started with a super fresh bruschetta, followed by a couple (large for a side salad) Caesars, and a cup of the best Italian Wedding Soup I've ever had. The soup is super rich with beef broth and al dente ditalini - perfect on a cold/windy February night out in Michigan. My wife's favorite entree in any metro-Detroit restaurant is the signature Honey Brisket with mascarpone orzo mac & cheese. Again, consistently executed every time. I had the Chicken Marsala with a (surprisingly not too heavy) penne with pesto cream sauce. The ambience was on pointe with some live jazz bleeding in from Gracie's next door. I almost forgot to mention the fu@#!^& donuts! My lord! Stop in for those alone. 11/10, no question.

Our waiter, Marvin, was wonderful. Attentive, personable and gave the perfect amount of space. The Arancini and breads were amazing, our meals delicious and generously proportioned.
