First timer going on my lunch break. Im a health professional and always looking for fresh healthy options on the go as I am a mobile worker...i ordered the turkey bacon avocado with NO ONIONS and i said no onions TWICE...I hate onions and they gave me onions ??♀️as a mobile worker i cant smell like onions they are gross and I hate onions...then as a courtesy i gave a $3 tip..once again i know the importance of tipping but never again ESPECIALLY in drive thru ordering...now im wondering why i did in the first place...its just drive thru and they messed up my order as it was my 1st time there...ugh never going back first impression, experience and quality ruined..hate going places and wasting time and money or having to hope for the best for food and experience...it should NEVER be that way...ugh need mouth wash from nasty onions i didnt want stat my stomach hurts and ruined just ugh
I feel like every experience I’ve had when I came to this place has been outstanding. The staff is always welcoming when I walk in the door which always geeks me up. They’re surprisingly not as expensive as you would might think this sort of eating establishment would be. The food is solid every time, which is awesome considering the fact that a different person made my panini each time I’ve been here. The older gentleman is quite the character but always happy and positive, he’s a great guy to have a conversation with. The manager (I think?) introduced himself the first time I came in a couple months ago and gifted me coupon cards for being a new customer. I can’t find anything even remotely negative to include. Thank you guys!!!!!
Sadly has gone downhill. I’m not a picky person at all, but I feel like I need to post this to let management know about the quality. The breakfast bowl I got this morning had eggs that tasted and felt like sponge, and the avocado was also nowhere near ripe. I used to love this place, but I won’t be coming back.
Not all fresh. I ordered a Fiesta bowl with the greek yogurt on the side and a regular green lemonade. When she told me my total was $22.25, I was taken aback. If you look at the menu, there is a price of $9.75 at the top of the screen for protein salad bowls. I chose a signature bowl. Look very carefully to the left (it took me almost the whole time they took to prepare my meal for me to find it) you will see a number 13. That's the price! There's no dollar sign. There's no decimal point. It's just not obvious. Now, that is mild and is not the reason for 3 stars. Look at my avocado! It's brown! Not just a part of it, the whole thing! The Greek yogurt not being on the side is just an honest mistake. Then the chicken; where is it? That's it? 2oz? I'm going to behungry in an hour. I also watched her make my juice - the cucumber was rotten on one side. Lastly, the lettuce pieces are huge. That in itself isn't a problem; the fact that I was given plastic fork and no knife is the problem. This is a fail. I have no problem paying for good food and fresh food. This was not worth the money. Too bad because I work 2niles from here.
My first two bites of my turkey, bacon, avocado wrap was delicious. My third bite, not so much. Noticed something was off and now I’m nervously waiting to see how I’m going to feel later…
Just go to Jersey Mike's. This food was not fresh and (dare I say it because...marketing) not healthy. We ordered two of the bacon turkey wraps with avocado and felt sick to our stomachs after! We couldn't even finish it.The turkey was a long rectangle with fatty edges and wet. The cheese was obviously packaged and processed and old - it was hard. The turkey bacon was so hard to bite.My one year old didn't even want to eat it and he eats everything!I should have known when the decals on the window say "with real food"...why would they have to advertise it's real? No, I've eaten at healthy lunch/smoothie places before with fresh and healthy ingredients and this isn't it. This is McDonalds-salad level food, but marketed like it's not. Also note, they don't have high chairs for children.
Delicious healthy food and definitely going on my normal rotation of lunch spots. Service was great, place was clean, can never go wrong with soup, salad and a smoothie. 10/10.
I was really hopeful coming here. I had been in a few years back and enjoyed it. However I was disappointed this time and am unsure if I’d go back. I ordered a bowl that was supposed to be served warm and it was cold, on top of that is was pretty pathetic in amount (I’m used to places packing my bowl to the top). I order bowls from multiple locations and this one was definitely a disappointment for the price. They also gave me the wrong smoothie.Also- if you want something quick and healthy this may not be the best thing. It took almost 25 minutes to get my to-go order (smoothie and bowl), and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant with 4 people working.
My kids love going to Healthy Fresh Cafe. The strawberry banana smoothie is favorite as well as the grilled cheese. It’s the perfect snack that all 3 can enjoy on the way to one of the various after school activities!
The first time I was here - about two months ago, I wasn't a huge fan. Cold food, did nothing to fix my order. But when I came back this time my experience was much more pleasant. Awesome staff and it seemed like they had a different manager who was far more attentive and involved in the every day customer interactions. Plant burger was really tasty! And overall much better! I come from retail and food myself so all of this meant a lot to me. I was genuinely greeted when I walked in and when I expressed this all to Will he gave me a business card plus a coupon so I'll definitely be back. Complete turn around in my opinion

so amazing. A 20oz smoothie, half a panini and a Greek yogurt parfait ( excellent!, Large side and the portions... a pleasantly large amount of fresh fruit and granola toppings, on good Greek yogurt... it's a steal for 5 bucks!). has cheaper price as one smoothie and a cheese quesadilla from completing smoothie joints... like tropical (who have been forgetting to give the driver either a smoothie or a quesadilla... 2 items, and they forget 50% of my order the last 6 time's!) and Smoothie King... 9 bucks for a 8 ounce smoothie?!Fresh Healthy Cafe is my new go-to.. cafe. 10 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended and I'm not easy to make say that.
I really WANT to like this place, it’s conveniently located and healthy but every time I give it a chance I’m disappointed. The smoothies are usually fine but if you order food you’ll be in the drive thru for a full 15 minutes. I’d give that a pass if the food were good, since quality can take extra time when it’s not pre made but this was my very sad Turkey avocado sandwich. As you can see half of it doesn’t have any avocado and the other half I had to pick these small pieces out because there is hard skin on the edges.
Had the BLT Chicken Wrap (half whole wheat) and the Super VegWrap (full whole wheat) to go. When I got home I noticed they reversed the order. The food was very good but not what I ordered. Also the Veg Wrap could use more hummus.
A breath of fresh air when compared to other fast food. I appreciate having access to fresh, light meals. Food was great, staff was very pleasant. Chatted with the manager while waiting, who was very nice. Looking forward to coming back!
They have a very healthy and fresh menu with many options. My minestrone soup was the best! Also had a fresh and delicious blueberry apple juice.6)…just fresh juice with no added sugar or ingredients. I am wishing there was a place like this in Oxford MI.
