Golden State Chef Co. is an absolute game changer and I can't praise this place enough. I am almost 6 weeks postpartum and we have been utilizing the pre-order option for the past few weeks. During this season of life, we're not looking to deal with the hassle of cooking and GSCC has been a healthy and fresh alternative to the typical carry-out, not to mention ensures we actually eat! There is a good variety on the menu, the food is delicious, and the portion sizes are decent. 10/10, highly recommend.

I am the chiropractor next door. I eat here quite often. It is pretty amazing that I have a healthy option this close. They offer a large variety, the owner and staff are absolutely amazing and everything is delicious! Couldn't ask for a better neighbor!

I truly don't know how I would've gotten through this year without this meal prep company. 1000x would recommend! This year I had zero time to meal prep or cook dinner every night. I was working two jobs, traveling, renovating a house, planning a wedding, and trying to stay fit/healthy -cooking dinner every night was simply not possible. I could've DoorDashed every meal, but I really wanted to save money and continue to eat healthy foods that tasted good, but we're high in protein. I've tried other meal prep companies in the past, but most of the time they just taste so bland, or aren't actually healthy for you. On a whim I randomly stopped in one day and realized that Golden State is literally the most delicious meal prep food I’ve ever had. Since then, I’ve had it delivered to my house every week. I save money, eat healthier, spend less time cooking, and my husband and I enjoy having something new to try on the menu every week. This meal prep company seriously saved my life this year. 1000x recommend!

I used to dream of a service that would provide delicious and healthy meals, so I wouldn’t have to keep meal prepping and grocery shopping and looking out for easy recipes. One day, my dream came true and I discovered the Golden State Chef Co. I get food that is far better and healthier than anything I could make on my own, and for the same price as my weekly grocery bill before. Once you try this, you will never go back to takeout and girl dinners.

I have been going to Golden State for 2 years now. This is by far the best meal prep service in the area when it comes to flavor, variety, and overall composition of a dish. Every single thing is homemade. Every sauce even, and often times the sauces really set off the dish. In combination with working out I was able to lose 30+ lbs eating their meals, even just for dinners. They are not afraid to use spice in the sauces either which is great. It’s pricier than other places but it is really worth it when you look at everything that goes into their dishes and the oven safe containers, etc. Some dishes are a miss, not going to lie. But the thing I like about this place is they change dishes, you almost never have the same dish twice. GOAT dishes - buffalo chicken bowl, banh mih chicken bowl, elote chicken, any pork meatball dish, pesto pasta, any taco bowl.. the list goes on but those have been the favorites in this house!!

Great food selections. The meals are flavorful and the ingredients seem fresh. My husband and I enjoy all of the meals. We are both busy professionals who also workout, so the high protein fresh ingredient meals are perfect for us. Highly recommend.
We’re so glad that we found this place! We order a couple of dinners for the week and have found everything to be very, very good. Meals are creative, tasty, and wholesome. It’s so nice to know that we have really good options for dinner in the fridge and they’ll be ready in 15 minutes. Highly recommended!

I've ate here a few times. Appreciate the variety of meals, and even within one dish, there is a good variety of ingredients that keep the meals from being boring and make the price feel justified.
My last time there however, a beef based dished had the strong taste and smell of old fish. It was very off putting and gives me concerns about their food safety practices.

This place is great! I picked up a turkey salad, coconut curry shrimp, apple panchetta chicken, overnight oats and a few different boxes/flavors of protein balls. All of it was delicious, the staff or owners where prompt, polite and gracious. The place was very clean. I would highly recommend it, I can say enough good things about it. Thank you! (I meant to take pictures but I was far to busy enjoying my food)
