I go to this place many times a year! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place routinely. The cooking is very good, the workers are polite and the payment is reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this spot over a tasty dinner.

We came here for my besties birthday dinner and I was really impressed! It was a Saturday night, there were 6 of us and we were seated really fast! Our server was super attentive and made sure we had everything and that our glasses were never empty. I wish I remembered his name but we bonded over going to the same high school, Stevenson! The cosmo fries were delicious! My friend and I split some nachos and chicken tacos and they packed a lot of flavor! It was an awesome way to start off her birthday night!

This place is amazing!!! Lots of seating, both inside and outside available. There is a beautiful roof-top bar with a gorgeous view of the city. Very hip and chic place to visit. Not only is it beautiful but the food was the very best part. I've had the pretzel bites, Buffalo chicken bites as appetizers. The buffalo was a bit spicy for me. I've also had the Cheddar ale soup, absolutely fantastic. I could eat that again and again. We also tried the Reuben sandwich. It came with fries and the offered us some extra cheese sauce to dip them in, the cheese sauce is a must by the way. You probably can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Now when I tell you that your crack fries made me actually want to do crack that's not an exaggeration. I also had a burger and that burger was so juicy and tender that I wanted slap the cook who made it because it was so good. Overall very great experience, my waitress was amazing and I had a great time. Hope to see you all, I love you (:

HopCat is my favorite place in Downtown Royal Oak to sit down, watch a game, drink some tasty beverages and eat some food from a menu that is frequently refreshed to add new and delicious options. A few of my favorite options that are available for happy hour are the Honey Sriracha Cauliflower and Gochujang Sticky Ribs. Both are packed with flavor and are great happy hour options. The shakshuka fries are also one of my favorites. They're very similar to the cosmik fries, but have an amazing shakshuka seasoning on them instead. I go here at least a few times a month and have always had good experiences with the staff and bartenders.

At the moment you enter that place they give you a comfortable feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a good restaurant to to go out with buddies or with your date. delicious cuisine, qualified chief cook and stuff, good pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a place convenient between my buddies job and my home. Hop cat seem to fit the bill. Located in the Royal Oak area there's always a fight for parking. Going during noon time makes it even tougher. However we both found spots after circling a few times and got in pretty easily. Their place was not pack but people were definitely there. The food was good we both ordered burgers. 2 different kind of burgers with fries and they were a good. Not something that was S spectacular or cause me to go back just for the Burger, since I live over 40 miles away. But all in all great food great service khana dark ambience so it's not a place to really come and hang out if you're trying to conduct business.
Absolutely love this place. Fast service, great food and drinks. Great location downtown too.

Loved this place! The beer selection was overwhelming but they were so good. The food was also yummy, but I think could have been slightly better. The cheese soup tasted a bit watered down and the wrap I got was kind of dry. The wrap did have a lot of flavor though. I think it’s a cool spot to check out and if you like beer then it’s a playground for selections. Would come back and try more food.

HopCat doesn't disappoint. Tasting the beers is very fun and you get to discover what you like. The food is BOMB!!! The fries are amazing. Everything I've ordered was delicious and fresh. The food also came out at a good timing. I recommend the chicken quesadillas. Definitely worth it!
