This was my first visit, but it won't be my last visit for sure. The food and drinks were good. Our server was awesome as well. Im sorry that I don't remember her name, but she was great.
Jim Brady’s Royal Oak – A Culinary Must!
Jim Brady’s in Royal Oak is hands down one of the best group hangout spots in the area. The location alone is unbeatable—right in the heart of the action, bringing together a lively mix of people and that unbeatable Royal Oak energy. Whether you’re posted up at the bar, grabbing a booth inside, or soaking up the sun on the outdoor patio, there’s always plenty of seating and even more good vibes.
Now let’s talk about the real reason this review is being written: the grilled octopus appetizer. As someone who’s traveled to more than 15 countries and spent time off the beaten path in Italy dining alongside locals—not tourists—I can say with complete confidence that this octopus is a 10 out of 5. Perfectly grilled, tender with the right char, flavorful in all the right ways… it instantly transported me back to the cobblestone alleys of southern Italy where seafood is sacred.
My best friend Janessa is a burger girl through and through (and yes, Jim Brady’s burgers are excellent too), but if it were up to me, I’d have five plates of grilled octopus in front of me every time I come. I haven’t found a single restaurant in the U.S. that even comes close to this level of grilled octopus perfection. If you’re even thinking about going, do yourself a favor: order the octopus—you’ll never look back.
Jim Brady’s isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. 💯.

Went to Jim Brady's in Royal Oak and had a delicious dinner! The food, service and atmosphere were all great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend a visit to Jim Brady's if one is looking for tasty food and great drinks! We'll be back soon.
Our Server Alex, I believe that is his name, was super attentive and very sweet to our kids.
Food was delicious. We just ordered way too much but that's what boxes are for right?
The music was a tad too loud for my taste and the ladies bathroom could use a DEEP cleaning for sure.
BUT the main reason you should go there is their food, drinks and very friendly staff.
Great hamburgers and martinis

Everything, and I mean everything about this place deserves praise.
From the moment you walk-in to the sights and sounds, to the time when you're server greets/welcomes you, to the smells and tastes of any and all delectable dishes you've had, will leave you with an experience that only may be high level restaurants can offer.
Regardless of an occasion or an event, you HAVE to give this place a try and go all-in.
Good Surroundings!! Service is always excellent. The staff has a constant demeanor with wanting to extend some assistance.
The food was delicious and our waiter Darnel was friendly, attentive and amazing! I would absolutely come back.
Food solid if unspectacular. Drinks same. For dinner, too brightly lit and music too loud... feels like a bar.
Energetic is a pretty interesting word choice by OpenTable for noise level, lol. Deafening is more like it. Food was quite good, service was excellent. But the noise in this place is so incredibly uncomfortable, that we won't be coming back, which is unfortunate, since the food was good. But when you can barely hear yourself think, and have to struggle to hear what your date is saying throughout the entire visit, I fail to see the reason for spending money there. If you enjoy not being able to hear anything, this is the place for you!

Service was very good. Had the inferno burger which was good, but very difficult to eat because of its size. I had to use my fork.
We had a good time & the food was good. A little pricey.. It was hard finding a parking space for 3 vehicles & I probably won't take the baby next time. 😊
Had a very fun date, we both enjoyed the beer and the food. Cheboygan's Blood Orange Honey for her & Eastern Market's Wunderboi for me. Brussels app, Scallops, Thai Shrimp Entrees, Carrot Cake dessert Waiter was helpful and a nice guy. I forget his name but, he did a swell job and was working a lot of tables in a packed and noisy house. My date and i both made a point on how cool the bathrooms were lol
Love the ambience of this restaurant. Its a lovely blend of happy and classy. Ordered chicken poppers and whitefish dip for starters. Rock and rye bbq sauce is yum. Hoped some would be leftover to take home but the servings dishes were cleared out. The shrimp risotto was a wonderful a party of flavors . Get the carrot cake for dessert . It lives up to the hype!
Went on Easter Sunday. Bad Axe burger was especially tasty. Fish tacos were fried perfectly. Loved the sauce on it. Great service. Good beer and Moscow Mule drinks. Delicious cheesecake made fresh.
