Very nice set-up, nice vibe, great food choices, great options of cocktails, each with a-little show. Tables are very close together so if you get a loud talker near you, you hear there conversation over yours. Food was outstanding. Wine selection could have been better but not bad.

Started out well once we found the entrance. Waitress was nice and attentive. Then our food arrived before the appetizer that never arrived. ItWe were offered a free dessert in apology. Chocolate truffles...they were simply terrible. Dry, dense, nothing special. The whole night wasn't a bust... The drinks were delicious. The drink prices were shockingly decent given how much it seems. Everyone has jacked up the alcohol and cocktail prices these days. And our entrées (seafood pad Thai, Wagyu strudel, and a pork ragout )were all delicious. As a former server, I can empathize when a place is packed, hings are crazy and something's off that causes things to be forgotten, but to our knowledge, there was no excuse that night. Things were just off, which is a bummer because we were looking forward to that evening out, but at least now we have stories we can share with others

We came here for a fancy New Year's dinner before we celebrated the end of 2025 and ring in 2026!! I was looking for a place where we could wear our fancy clothes and have a nice dinner. This place did not disappoint!! It was a little interesting on how we entered which wasn't super awesome with the snow and my heels but that's really not their fault but otherwise super fun and intriguing. The menu was nice, so many yummy looking options! The food was great and the presentation was on point!! The drinks were delicious mine was an interesting look but a great taste! We got a cherry crème brûlée for dessert and it was presented so beautifully and tasted delicious. My husband got an old fashioned and he said it's the best he's ever had and now wants all smoker for all his drinks lol. The vibe of the whole place was amazing, I loved the music playing. It's all I've talked about when I tell people about this place. Overall great experience! If we are ever in the area again we will for sure be making a trip back!

Really cool atmosphere but can get very loud depending on the groups around. Drinks are tasty but overpriced for the size of the drink. Cheese and bread appetizer was super good. Nice place for drinks and a snack but gets pricey quick!

What an amazing night at Royal oaks best Speakeasy ever the drinks were amazing the food was extraordinary please get the lamb chops they are to die for. The host was very nice that entertainment was off the chain with Charles and Gwen scales the bartender was not just beautiful she has a beautiful personality and she made beautiful drinks.

Food was delicious. Hands down best salmon plate I've ever had in Michigan. Service was kind. Ambiance was ok. Dark bit too spot light-ish in some spots. It didn't give a romantic vibe like I thought it showed in pictures. But all of our plates were very tasty.

My girlfriend surprised me with a reservation for my birthday. Started out great...then, cocktails took forever. Food was good but had to wait an eternity. The service was ok, it seemed taht the waiters had to many tables and it was very loud because there was a big group in that small space. It was very crowded and loud. Too expensive for the experience. Won't be back.

Had such a great experience at Johnny’s Speakeasy. The ribs were next-level! juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and comforting, honestly the perfect side. The drinks were really good too, you can tell they actually put care into every cocktail. The whole place has this cool, laid-back speakeasy vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
