Great ramen spot. Quick service, very accommodating, and was able to offer a bowl of ramen that was celiac friendly. Really tasty, will come again.

Truly excellent ramen - best I've had in a very, very long time. The gyoza were also excellent. Great vibe and super cute space. I will be back - a lot!

Kaizen has the best ramen I've had in a long time! Don't expect much from the ambience but the place is still nice.

Good ramen. Wish they blanch the spinach before throwing it on. The chashu was very tender and smoky. Broth was ok.

Authentic Japanese comfort food ❤️ It reminds me of real ramen shops in Japan in its simplicity.

Great ramen and sides are served with a side of retro-sci-fi whimsy in this robot themed ramen joint!
I AM SOOO HAPPY KAIZEN OPENED BACK UP. The ramen is delicious and the noodles made in house is fantastic. The chef Yoshika was amazing and so was her art that was hung on the wall.
A hidden gem of the Detroit area is the diversity in food due to wide array of international companies and settlement. This means if you know where to look you can find raw authenticity.
I found this new eatery in passing and was rather pleased. At first I was skeptical because the restaurant was nearly empty, but I also learned it had been recently ooened.
The atmosphere has a cool vibe and is decorated in a trendy urban robot motif. It feels like your average hip spot you’d find in Tokoyo and even South Korea’s Seoul.
The elephant in the room, what’s my opinion on taste. First off, I only sampled on dish and it was great! Upon delivery it’s clear through their plating that the ingredients are above average. Look at a couple pics and you decide. I found the signature of the broth to be very rich and refined slowly, rather than a sauce packet & water. The pork & other ingredients felt as though TLC were paramount. And lastly I found the hand made noodles complimented everything else, yet it was strikingly unique that it left a grin.
I plan to go back soon to explore the menu further.
Please open back up 😩 no other place in town compares to you guys. We all miss you!!
