This place has been our favorite for years. The soups are amazing— both are. Whenever my brother is in town, he goes through quarts of the chicken lemon rice. The pita is grilled there and delicious. My favorite is the tomato lentil (vegan too). Highly recommend!
We've been fans of the Kalamata Greek Grill and were happy when they opened their Woodward Avenue location a few years ago. Since then, we've been there for lunch and for dinner, usually doing carry-out. And it's been a go-to place when family and friends are visiting. Giving it only four stars, let me tell you why. The food was excellent, the service not so much. The service was bad enough to generate a two or three star review. However with the covid struggles of finding good (or any) employees right now its four stars. I will definitely eat there again and hopefully the service will improve.
