Leo's Coney Island (Downtown Royal Oak)

Go to our fav 12 am food spot we get our food it’s wrong no biggie but that’s the usual at this location but we go back and as we’re getting it fixed we are to get theatened, cussed out and my 50k car stolen over a miscommunication! upset i can’t post the video as I have it all on tape. Was kicked out by employees word for word bc it’s “family”. So they let family treat customers like trash, threaten to steal their car, trash talk us and cuss us out and kick us out on top of it when they followed us out to our car and was forced to leave once I stated I was making a police report. Have every single interaction on tape as well.

First of all the place is freezing like the penguin habitat at the zoo. I ordered a dinner but they forgot to give me part of the order. They forgot to give me silverware. There were 3 waitresses and only 2 other customers, but my order took forever for them to mess up. Never coming to this Leo’s again. Other Leo’s are much better.

Do Not come here I ordered a salad and lettuce was brown my coworker ordered a gyro and their was a big hair inside.
Bathrooms are discusting!

Yall brought the girls from Zoe’s over to work there and you can definitely see the difference. They don’t like to acknowledge customers because they’re too busy wiping tables or stocking…way more important than the order that is sat there in the window done… that’s sucks because the people at Leo’s were actually pretty decent

The bathroom is this place is beyond NASTY and all they had to say was the customer's did it wooooweeeee n said it's clean daily well I beg the differ the smell is horrific 😳 😅 🤔 won't eat here EVER

Got to be the worst Leo’s Coney Island in the Metro Detroit area BY FAR!!!! Slow service, missing items on order multiple times. I will never eat or order from this place again. And this is coming from someone who frequently eats at Coney Islands. Never again 👎🏽

Came in they were shortstaffed which they announced after ordering my scrambled eggs and meat only of sausage and bacon. It took about three minutes to get after I receive the food as I look on my plate. There’s a hair in my food. I informed the waitress she took it informed the cooks in the back about it. It took less than 30 seconds for the plate to come back, which indicates to me that all was done was the hair was removed and put it on a new plate and sent back to me was not offered a discount or anything for having hair my food asked for a Diet Coke get a Diet Coke When she asked if I wanted a refill I said yes and I was brought back a regular Coke. As I was sitting there finishing my food. A gentleman was sitting across on the other side, waiting for a waitress to attend him for about five minutes or more mind you there was only Three tables, including mine by the time I left, he was still waiting.

As of recently there have been these 2 white skin colored Arabic guys there. Until I gave these new cooks a shot I have been forced to go to the Leo’s in Birmingham, because even the buy one get one uber eats deal is not worth it if the previous cooker had a strong 90% of giving me food poisoning. Always got sick once I ordered and the previous cooks were working. I don’t know if the owner reads his reviews but please I beg of you do not allow this new cook leave this location is of walking distance from my house, it’s now once again the best place to get food again, if your hungry guys and stop by the royal oak Leo’s and you see a younger handsome white skin colored Arabic guy, you must try his food 3rd time I grab my Philly steak from him all 3 times cooked to perfection cheese is not over melted and the bottom of meat is not burned. I refuse to order food from here unless I personally see one of the two new cooks working. If your like me and have lived next door for 5 years and avoided it for the last 4, I promise if you order when these new cooks are working you will become addicted and fall in love all over again 😍☺️

This place sense of urgency with food orders are TERRIBLE. I literally work at the p.o behind this place and I call in my orders every time so they can be ready when I get there. It’s always something simple like chili fries or a patty melt. I stopped placing and paying online because my order would never be ready and with my job time is of the essence!! The cooks don’t care and some of the waitresses have bad customer service skills. If there was any other coney closer and open around here I’d go there instead. Today was my last time ordering from here

Ordered through DoorDash on Sept 3 from Leo's Coney Island. What I received was shocking, the chicken fingers were completely burnt and inedible (see photo), and the fries were limp and underwhelming. This is not a DoorDash issue, the food left Leo's kitchen looking like this. Totally unacceptable quality. Won't be ordering from Leo's again.
