I love this place. Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. The cupcakes have little chocolate chips in them. The buttercream frosting is perfect. We've had a few cakes. Cookie dough cake was good but not my thing. I wouldn't get it again. Strawberry cake is excellent. They do a great job personalizing cakes. Decorated cakes are so cute. Love this place and go when I have an opportunity

We ordered a cake or a baby shower yesterday and it was so beautiful. Everyone at the party was talking about it. We had French vanilla with pink fondant and the fondant was delicious, and the cake was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be ordering from here again, I can’t even explain how happy I was with this cake!!

I noticed they moved from Crooks in the RO to Bham a while back. My friends recommended this place for cakes and their pop cakes. Cute shop. I picked up about a half dozen little pop cakes, an assortment of different kinds for my niece, nephew and my neighbor's kids too. Each individual cake pops aren't too expensive. The kids enjoyed the frosting, since it was sweet. I tried one myself. The kids thought the cake pops were decent. I tried one and the frosting was fine, sugary as expected, but the cake inside was rather dry. I wasn't sure if that's how a cake pop tends to be, but it definitely wasn't for me, if they are supposed to be this dry. Made me thirsty. One small bite was enough for me. I tossed out the rest of the pop cake and spit out one bite, as it wasn't carb worthy.

I ordered a cake for a baby shower and it was so beautiful. Everyone at the shower was talking about it, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the cake texture and flavor was absolutely perfect. We got a French vanilla flavor with pink fondant and it was flawless, even the fondant tasted really good. I think they must use very high-quality ingredients because the French vanilla was the perfect richness without being too sweet, the cream between the layers was perfectly flavored and creamy yet firm, and what I'm most surprised about is how good the fondant was. I think it really comes down to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the baker, and I am beyond impressed. I will be ordering from this bakery from now on.

The customer service is top tier, my daughter and her friends loved the cake. This is our third year ordering and we will be continuing to get our cakes from here. It was contactless, yet still everything worked smoothly. From emails explaining pricing breakdown ( worth it ) to them requesting a picture of what my vision was. It was a really great experience and better tasting cake. Can't wait for MY birthday.

Highly recommend Love & Buttercream for your next occasion! We ordered two dozen cake pops for our gender reveal party (12 vanilla and 12 lemon). The outside was white with either a blue & pink sprinkle design or a blue & pink frosting drizzle design. The inside was a pink color - the gender of our baby! Our guests loved them - they were moist, delicious, and perfectly sweet (not too much). Ordering was very easy via email and pick up was a breeze. Just be sure you order 10 days in advance and you’re good to go!

I ordered a wedding cake tasting box and an 8-inch Strawberry Short Cake for a birthday party. Unfortunately, the icings in the tasting box and on the cake were very salty. Additionally, the texture of the cake seemed off…dry and dense. I reached out to see if something had gone astray with my order. To my surprise, I was informed that their buttercream is suppose to be salty and they insinuated that I was taken aback by the texture because I’m used to boxed cake. Unfortunately, I’m a home baker who only bakes from scratch and I don’t prefer box caked from bakeries (or anywhere). No one at the birthday party finished their slice and over half the cake remained at the end. I won’t be back but the cake was decorated beautifully.

I ordered two custom Birthday Cakes for a surprise 30th Birthday party. When I got there the most important part of the cakes were missing. One was supposed to be Happy Birthday Jared and the bigger cake was supposed to be Happy 30th Ryan. The girl tells me it's on the bottom of the cake which made no sense to me but thank gd I had her take them back in to check because no there was nothing written. So they threw together Happy Birthday messages that I thought would be fancy and make the cakes but now they do not. She then tells me that they will see if it was in the notes when I sent them a two paragraph detailed email of exactly what I wanted a month ahead of time. Event is tonight and praying they at least taste better than they look because the big cake is so damn heavy? Is the frosting cement? Very worried. So disappointed and will NEVER order from here again!

There is nothing to guide through the process. I have questions about flavor matching and no one to help. I will take my business elsewhere!
