I hardly ever review restaurants but I’m truly aghast at this experience. The food and drinks were pricey but fine, the service was fast, but the problem came at the bill. We left a tip in cash on the table, but two days later we saw that the server must have put a tip on the card as well, as we were charged more than the bill. That is definitely illegal.

My family and I came out for the first time on 04/07/2026 and our server Jaliyah was amazing! Very attentive, kind, and beyond friendly. Will definitely be coming back and requesting her. We also almost got everything she recommended!

Reka is an amazing server. She was very polite and attentive. The food was bland besides the tacos. The salsa is extremely watery and we weren’t a fan. Overall not a bad experience but the food fell flat.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
We went to Mesa Tacos and Tequila on February 28 at 9:00 PM to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and the experience was horrible from start to finish. We arrived at 9:00 PM and didn’t leave until almost 12:00 AM, not because we were having fun, but because everything took forever.
We ordered appetizers and entrées and were served food with no silverware. When we asked, staff told us they had to roll silverware in napkins and it would be out shortly. It took almost an hour just to get utensils after our food was already sitting there.
The food itself was very disappointing. The birria was poorly cooked, and the margarita tower was awful, especially for the price. To make matters worse, my best friend received the wrong meal, and it took a long time to get the correct order. Our waiter barely came by and did not check on us consistently.
My husband and I spent 148 dollars, and it was absolutely not worth it. When we spoke to the manager about the long wait times, poor service, and food issues, only my friend was compensated, even though the entire table experienced the same problems. Our party remained patient and respectful, but when we voiced our concerns, it felt like no one cared at all.
Management should review this situation and reach out because this experience shows a serious lack of leadership, service standards, and accountability.
